Urge to Kill... Rising...
Who: Nami
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Bloodsport. Or the planet's surface, I guess.
When: Now
[So Nami had been intending to grow her hair out again, but recent events have proven it's gonna take a little more time. As of a week ago, her hair has been carved back to its short status for reasons she hasn't bothered sharing, and she's been in a terrible mood for the entire time. Which has much less to do with her hair and more to do with her two temple runs and the treasure (or not) that she found.
On the other hand, this sponsor delivery she's just found in the Bloodsport's cargo bay really just rounds off the feeling she's being picked on.]
...cute. At best, you're late.
[Sup, Flooters. This is Nami kicking a crate-sized box over, sending glittery, silky hair ties and ribbons and combs and assorted accessories bouncing across the floor, her voice that cheerful sickly sweet that will rise the hackles of anyone who's spent too much time in close proximity with her.]
Free to a good home! It's in the Bloodsport cargo bay, come and take it by all means. [Be warned, though, this pile of hair accessories are the kind you'd expect to find in a kiddie aisle that's been painted obnoxiously pink.] I'm not gonna be here. I hope they're all gone by the time I come back.
On that note, I'm going up to the surface. I doubt anyone else is heading up that way, but I'm going up to test some stuff and that'll make the area hazardous to suddenly turn up in, so. Fair warning, just avoid the area around these coordinates. [Coordinates given. It's a freaking planet of water, there's plenty of surface area, but her luck is inconvenient at best so let's avoid anyone haplessly surfacing in the middle of a lightning field, yeah?]
I hope everyone else is having a better week.
[Now excuse her, she's off to vent her frustration with a waver and a glorified storm stick.]

video.
[A little smile follows.]
Or we could, y'know. Have a drink after all that temple business.
video.
[If I have to suffer so do youuuu
but hey, at least she kinda smirks a bit.]
Drinking, I could do. I'm only going up for an hour or so. How about when I come back?
video.
[NEEEERD]
But I'll meet you there?
video.
...says the girl who keeps charts and maps of every place ever I GUESS WE'RE WELL MATCHED, HUH]
You got it. I'll message you when I'm on my way back. Unless I manage to electrocute myself.
video.
[He grins, though, before the feed shuts off.
And he'll be around, just as anticipated, ready for your call.]
Action!
In the event of my death, I will run this bar as a ghost.
But also, I'm pretty sure Fenris would be the one taking over. You're in the clear.
[She loves you, really. She's just in a snarky mood.]
Action!
Being a ghost wouldn't be a good idea, trust me.
You'd probably start killing people with bottles.
Or fried space pickles?
Action!
Arlong, though. He always looms.
Today he's watching Sam.]
Maybe some people deserve to be killed by bottles. Or space pickles. [Grin.] Bottles of fried space pickles? Sounds disgusting. [She slides into the seat opposite.]
I hope your week has been better than mine.
Action!
Yeah. Just a passing glance, but nothing more.]
Honestly, it sounds like a way I'd go out. Granted, I would probably be back in no time, but still. A Winchester way to bite it. [Casual morbid death jokes, it's the natural way of life here.] I've been doing... alright. I mean, I've been way worse. Been staying up too late doing write-ups on the planet, but. That's good work to keep me occupied.
Action!
And then she reaches out and smacks him in the forehead.]
Action!
And, as if this is just the typical way of things, he rubs his forehead, not surprised at all.]
Ow.
That's rude.
Action!
[She's hardly traumatised by it, but geez, Sam.]
Action!
Sorry. Promise I'll refrain.
How was your trip?
Action!
Needed a few kinks sorted out, but everything's running smoothly again. If you ever want a thunderstorm in a room again, I'm totally your girl.
Action!
Action!
[Totally deadpan. Arlong gives a faint snort.]
But honestly, I'm more happy that I've got a more surefire way of dealing with resident crazies. Or terraforming accidents.
Action!
She's way nicer, thanks.]
Must've felt a like you were missing a limb there.
... I don't recommend using it while we're at this planet, though.
Action!
[Sam you are being kinda twitchy but she's also. Kind of used to that happening on occasion now.]
Action!
I'm betting we'd be kicked off the planet.
And I'd hate for you to burn bridges with a planet that is actually kind of like your home.
Action!
Action!
[A pause.]
Fishman Island, huh...? That's, uh, the place you guys went to with the mermaids, right?
[Sanji super loves that place, i i r c.]
Action!
Let me guess. Sanji-kun told you all about them.
[The -kun is because habits die hard, really.]
Action!
...
He really needs to get laid.
Action!
Fishman Island was really beautiful, though. [Because she's still in a light mood, but let's get off the subject of Sanji before that changes okok.]
And yeah, there were mermaids, fishmen, such a huge variety-- we met the mermaid princess, Shirahoshi. She's literally fifty times your size.
Action!
... Was she a nice mermaid princess?
Because I would be worried about getting a giant palm to the body.
