They're a little hard to explain, but they're... a race of people, like humans or elves or whatever, except they're made almost entirely out of magic and... imagination, and dreams, and stuff like that. They live in a world that's, um... [she gestures with one hand on top of the other...] ...Right on top of ours. Both all around us, and, um, somewhere else at the same time. It's where magic comes from. Are you following so far?

Um-- Yeah. Made of magic. I've got a fae soul in a human body. I mean--I started out human, but it turned out I had a dormant fae soul the whole time, so... The whole thing is kind of complicated? Mostly I just... Wanted to promise that I'm magical, but I'm not dangerous to anybody.
