Sure, if you don't mind. [ She glances around ] The Bishop is much bigger than my ship, I never realized. [ Since the last time she was here she just went straight to the library and then left ]

Of course not. Come on, we'll take a walk.

[ he just shrugs one shoulder, indicating that she should follow him. ]

And is it? This and the Marsiva are the only ones I've been on.

[ino]

[ She'll clasp her arms behind her back, walking alongside him ]

Yeah, mine doesn't have quite so many rooms. I didn't notice when I was here the other day, since I just went to the library, but ...

[ She'll leave that there, sort of waiting to see if Hiro has told him about her coming over for ninja lessons ... ]

They're all built along the same lines though, right? The same basic architecture?

[ because that was actually pretty interesting -- and maybe something to study. just to keep himself busy, of course. ]

Oh! I went planetside the other day, too. Not for long, but - it was pretty cool.

[ino]

Not exactly. It depends on who's a part of your crew. You guys have lab support, so your lab is decent. My ship has a lot of pilots and communications officers, so our helm is impressive, but not much else.

[ She shoots him an understanding smile, tucking a few stray hairs behind her ear. She knows it's hard as fuck to want to go DO anything after hearing something like that, so it's good that he's trying to get out. She'll focus on that, and now how much she actually hates this particular planet, lmao ]

Oh, yeah? I think it's kind of interesting how different they all are.

It's... decent, yeah, but it could use some work. [ tadashi seems thoughtful, casting a glance off to the side. down the hallway, probably toward the lab. ] Just trying to decide how much the upgrades are worth it, or how quickly I should be working toward them.

[ hahahah he got a pretty decent paycheck.... ]

From what I've seen, they definitely improve the place. And I'd imagine you have plenty to spare.

[ A bit of a teasing grin, there. After last week, yeah, there's no WAY he didn't get a hefty paycheck. Even hers was a bit nicer than usual, and she was barely involved ... ]

[ ... hahaha his face actually falls a little at that. ]

Yeah, and nowhere do they sell ballcaps in that town. If I wanted a tri-point jester hat I would've been in business, but come on.

[ it's unreal how sincere the anguish seems. ]

They might have something like that at the waystations, but uh -- yeah, nobody on Mor has seen anything like that.

[ he scrubs his fingers through his hair, puffing his cheeks out a little in what is definitely just playful irritation. ]

Mm, maybe. We'll see.

Why the ballcap, specifically?

[ishere]

Kind of a safety blanket, I guess. Had one I wore all the time at home, and it's just... weird not to have it, you know? [ especially when you're scrambling for purchase on anything that might be familiar. ]

[ino]

[ Fair enough. She has a few of those things herself -- her earrings, Asuma's lighter, so on and so forth ]

I'll let you know if I see anything. We do have a tailor in the fleet, though -- he might be able to make one for you.

[ he imitates her imitation, wiggling his fingers. ]

I'm not really a 'sunglasses' kind of guy.

So it's a fashion choice, then.
