Yeah? He cook a lot for you?

Uh-huh. He owns a hamburger restaurant, actually. It's below our apartment, and Mom and my siblings and I all work in it.

I take it y'all are pretty close then?

Yeah... [Tina sighs wistfully.] My siblings especially. Gene and Louise and I have always been joined at the hip, ever since they were born, so it's been a little hard to be separated from them.

[Misty smiles softly. Even if she never wants to go back herself, she feels for the ones who do, who have something to go back to.]

I'm sorry. I hope you get to see them again soon because you're lucky to have a family like that.

Part of me wants them to show up here, since at least they'd be more entertaining than I am. Mom and Gene would be writing and signing songs, and Louise would be scheming to take down Atroma, and Dad... actually, Dad wouldn't want anything to do with it. It's not so bad here in the Drift Fleet, though. Unicorn meat scares aside.

No, not so bad.

[Though it sounds like Tina's got a normal life, not like most of the rest of them. A normal life worth going back to. She smiles.]

Just keep up that positive attitude and you'll be all right.

It's hard to sometimes. But I try to remind myself that I'm awesome, and that works.

[She smiles.]

Of course - I wish I had had a friend as nice as you when I was 13.

[And that gets a bit of a blush out of her.]

I try my best to be nice to everyone. It just makes more sense than being mean, you know? And all of my crew is so nice to me in return. I'm pretty lucky.

Yeah, this is a good crew, isn't it? Helps that Stefan is such a good captain.

[Not that she's biased or anything.]

I like him a lot. He's taken care of me ever since I got here, and he's so willing to teach me new stuff.

That sure sounds like him all right. He's been there for me since the beginning too.

So we both lucked out. I'm lucky to have all of you, really.

[Tina feels a little bit of warmth in her heart rise at that. She has a friend who would help if she really WAS cursed. Being away from her family sucked, but here, she had people like this.]
