[ There is very little worse than waking in an unfamiliar place, disorientated, confused, and incredibly disgruntled. Still that he can't remember ever going to sleep, he doesn't need sleep so why did he... Eizen shifts groggily attempting to get out of the bed he found himself in - only to come crashing down on the cold hard floor.

With his elbow landing on the device the feed flicks on just in time to see and hear the blond hair man curse loudly, sharp jarring pain shooting up his arm. Growling he pushes himself up to sit leaning against the side of the bed, hand reaching up to holding his still swimming head. ]

Where the hell...? Zaveid?

[ He can remember that the idiot had been with him, that they spent the evening drinking and talking as the world continued on around them unaware. ]

If this is some kind of joke I'm not laughing.

[ From what he understands at least, there shouldn't be anything wrong with her memory. You can't remember things that she hasn't lived through. ]

[She...doesn't know how she feels about that. Aside from confusion. There's a lot of that. And some irritation. Because, well, she's Velvet.]

[ Eizen laughs, a hand stuffing into the pocket of his jacket to curl around his vessel. ]

[She sighs. She's now less sure how pressed she is for time, if what she thought she was on her way to do has already happened. But still:]

I just want to know who I have to eat to get out of here.

[ There's something oddly comforting hearing threaten to eat people, bringing a short grin to his face. ]

[ He brushes a thumb across the surface of his coin, feeling the etching of the Demon Lord against the leather of his gloves. ]

By the way, do you want to know how it turned out? Our final battle.

[ If she asks he'll answer, if she doesn't... Well that's her choice. ]

[She starts to respond, but pauses. She'd be lying if she said she didn't. On the other hand is it really a good idea? Would knowing change anything? She's not entirely sure.]

Just...tell me, did we succeed?

[She doesn't want the details. At least not right now. But she's not a patient enough person to pass on the knowledge altogether.]

[ It is dangerous territory, he thinks, telling someone about their future. It could change everything or nothing, she may not even remember it when she leaves here. But she'll ask eventually, that much is certain, this way he will eliminate weeks of internal debate. ]

[ They won. They tore Artorius from his seat on high down to the ground below, the world lost it's Shepherd. ]

[She breathes out slowly. It's odd to hear him say it. Even if she's not surprised. Not exactly. She didn't allow herself to doubt. But it's strange to know your own future and even stranger to talk about it in past tense.]

[ A moment passes in silence before Eizen exhales, clutching his vessel. ]

[There's silence for awhile, but eventually Velvet responds again, sounding more frazzled and irritated than before.]

[ It takes Eizen a moment or two to respond, somewhat perplexed at the question. Who? Oh.

He shrugs even though he knows he isn't visible on camera. ]

[She huffs.]

But he said us being here is someone's idea of entertainment.
