[he sets his bowl aside on some screen that probably isn't supposed to have food near it, and plunks the wooden peg-feet down on the ground. then, slowly levering himself up as well as he can from a swiveling chair, he teeters his way up to... yes, they're definitely stilts.

there is now an elf standing two feet taller than he usually does, still in his boxer shorts, head ducked a little so it doesn't bump the ceiling of the cabin, wobbling proudly in place.]

[ She can't help but let out a small laugh at how proud he looks at them ]

I just thought they were cool, and the guy had them on sale. I think he just wanted to get rid of them.

[also starting to lose his balance just standing there, so CLOMP CLOMP he stomps a couple awkward steps to the side before he catches himself again.]

Yeah, I was using them on the way here... it's way easier when you're moving around instead of standing still.

[and he hams it up a little, now that he has an audience--straightening up as tall as he can without losing his balance or bumping his head on anything. he flexes his arms and everything, pretending to be a big strong man.]
