[ 2nd blessing - a special guest! ]

Action: Yes, if aboard the SS Blameless. Which clearly means everyone should come to visit her because there is a very special guest aboard the ship now.
When: Early evening.

A - Kitchens.

[ Lunafreya is uncharacteristically excited, and for good reason. Not only does she have her beloved Prince here now along with Ignis, but she's got yet another familiar face from home. If you are aboard the Blameless, crew members or visitors alike will notice the young woman walking around with an extremely friendly looking black dog trotting at her side, looking just as pleased as she is.

She's walking all over the ship, talking to the dog in question, showing him various locations, and he seems to understand her completely. Her next stop is the kitchen, and as she pauses, her faithful companion sits down and barks. She smiles apologetically and crouches down, reaching to pet him, clearly completely unaware that there is, in fact, someone else in the kitchen as well. ]

Forgive me, Umbra, but I'm not so sure you're going to like the food they serve here...

B - The Bridge.

[ What kind of tour would it be for her beloved companion if she were not to show him the bridge of all places? Umbra looks pretty interested -- as interested as a dog can look at least, and as she explains the various functions he tips his head to the side slightly, looking at everything she's pointing out.

But he's not just paying attention to her, oh no. He's paying attention to everything. Umbra's ears twitch, and suddenly his tail is wagging as footsteps approach. As if to signal to Luna that someone is coming, he whines and barks, his front feet prancing in place excitedly because new friends! ]

--Ah, pardon us. I hope we are not in your way.

C - Various areas of the Blameless.

[ While the Blameless isn't the biggest ship in the world, she's been very careful to mention each and every detail that she can think of and show Umbra, who has been keeping a casual pace at her side this entire time. From the kitchens, to the bridge, to the various bedrooms (that she has been respectful enough to NOT go in other than her own, thank you very much), the pup is quite literally getting toted everywhere.

[As a pilot, of course Shiro spends a lot of time on the bridge. He's coming back with a warm cup of tea, ready to check the systems, and raises an eyebrow when he finds her with a... dog? Yes, that's a dog! A very cute one, with a mark on his nose that reminds Shiro of his own.]

It's alright, Lunafreya, you aren't. Is this guy yours? [He crouches and offers his human hand to sniff.]

[ Smiling brightly, the young woman nods her head, and Umbra is more than happy to trot close to Shiro and sniff at his hand, before sitting obediently, lifting a paw, and placing it right into Shiro's hand to shake. ]

Indeed he is. His name is Umbra, and he has been one of my most faithful companions at home. [ The other being Pryna, but... well, she's not here. ]

[padadin]

[Aww, look at that. Shiro chuckles and gladly shakes that paw - it's not the strangest thing he's done in space to be honest. After the shaking is done, he slowly reaches to scratch the dog behind the ears, if he's allowed.]

Hello, Umbra. You look really smart. [He looks up at her and gives her a nod of understanding.] And you arrived here with him?

[ Umbra's tail wags so fast and hard it's almost a blur as Shiro begins petting him, and it's quite clear that he's a happy camper at the attention. The compliment has him barking happily, too! ]

He is. [ She chuckles as well, glad to see the two getting along so well. At Shiro's question, though, she shakes her head. ] No, not exactly. When I arrived here, I was alone. But there is a temple on the planet, and after a few... mishaps it gifted me with Umbra. I am very fortunate indeed.

[padadin]

[This is too damn cute. A smiling Shiro keeps petting, encouraged by his reaction, and internally glad he still can give a good pet - when was the last time he even touched a dog? This is kinda nostalgic, and suddenly Shiro looks forward to having Umbra around.]

A gift from home... I didn't know those were possible. [What are the chances to find a giant lion mecha, he wonders.] Finding a friend and not just a thing really is fortunate. I hope he adapts well to space.

[ Umbra is an extremely happy pup right now, leaning into Shiro's touch. He's looking up at the poor man with big, dark, adoring eyes. ]

I was not aware, either. I have heard other people found weapons and the such, but I was extremely surprised to find Umbra within the box I was gifted with. I was afraid I would never see him again.

[ The dog in question seems to understand that, and his ears flatten a little bit at her words, but his tail never once stops thumping against the ground. ]

[Oh no, just look at those eyes. Shiro will just keep on petting to keep those eyes on him, especially when his ears flatten. Aww, don't be sad, buddy. Here, let Shiro scratch behind those ears.]

I've thought a lot about that - seeing friends from home again. This gives me hope. [He pats the dog on the neck one more time before finally standing up.] Welcome to the SS Blameless, Umbra, I hope you're comfortable here.

[ Umbra is over the proverbial moon right now, Shiro. He's leeeeeeeeaning into the scratches, but once his new friend stands straight again, he obediently sits again and wags his tail at a slower, but still very content pace. ]

I have been extremely fortunate these last few weeks. My fiancé recently showed up, and so did one of his childhood friends. [ Unable to help herself, the Oracle reaches out to place a light, reassuring hand against one of Shiro's shoulders. ] I have faith that you, too, will receive friends and loved ones from home as well. But until that day, we will do our best to fill some of those gaps.

[ They aren't the same as friends from home, but they can at least do their best. Umbra brightens again and gives a small, pleased bark, as if to confirm that he is, in fact, going to have a blast here with all of his new friends, and Luna's smile widens again. ]

I believe he will settle in just fine. He's quite sociable, so I think he will love it here.
