[Cue Ochako setting the communicator up and bouncing back, waving like it's some kind of peppy vlog. Cheers, everyone!]

Back to space we go! I don't know about everybody else, but I'll be glad that I don't have to keep wringing my clothes out all the time.

Anyway! That's not the point of this! While we're here, I was thinking... we've got a lot of kids with special abilities around here now, don't we? Or even just kids who wanna get stronger. The fleet is mostly safe, but sometimes things happen, and... well! Everyone benefits when we know what we're doing, right? Right!

Okay, so for everybody who doesn't know him, my teacher, Aizawa-sensei, is here! He's kind of a recluse so you probably wouldn't think it but he's really strong, and his teaching skills are top-notch! Back home, he's my homeroom teacher at the best heroics school in the world! He knows what's what. I bet he could teach anyone.

I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice to have a school here? Not just for superpowers, though I think that sort of thing is important... but I've never been out of school this long in my life. I feel like I'm getting dumber by the day. And it could be fun! We could make a classroom on the Iskaulit, we could get books and put together a real class and- oh, uniforms! We could get uniforms if we wanted!

[Ochako starts off on the Starstruck, taking care of her various chores while she covers responses, but at some point she'll venture over to the Iskaulit, poking around some of the rooms - both existing and unclaimed - to scout out what space is free in the vicinity of the library. She's humming to herself some upbeat song, visibly and very obviously in a good mood.]

...Waaah, really!? That's what UA is, too!

The UA?

Not the UA, just UA High! It's the name of my school back home. The best heroics academy in the world!

[axiomed]

[ That's interesting. ]

So they teach you how to be a hero in this school, I presume?

[willynilly]

Yep! Along with the usual high school ed, of course. But UA specializes in teaching kids like us to be the next generation of heroes.

[axiomed]

Are there lots of villains around, by any chance?

[willynilly]

Yeah... more than there used to be, these days. So we have to be extra careful, and training's gotten harder than it was in previous years.

[axiomed]

[ It seems to be the default trend in worlds like theirs. ]

It must be difficult at times. Trying to keep up with that along with your powers.

[willynilly]

Sometimes, sure! It's definitely a challenge. But nobody would attend UA if they were looking for an easy graduation. It's sort of built for people who want to be the best.

[axiomed]

[ His expression softens. ]

And do their best for others, I imagine.

[willynilly]

Well...! Being a hero is a career path as much as a state of mind, so... everyone has their own reasons for being there. The two kinda go hand in hand, but some are more um, altruistic than others...

[axiomed]

[ Huh. ]

And the other reasons being?

[willynilly]

Um... ambition, pride, a lack of other life goals... money.

[axiomed]

Ah. All important reasons.

[ Money is a new one, but Charles is not well versed in heroes. ]

I guess they're not all the most noble, but... it's a job like any other, and everybody needs money to live.

[axiomed]

[ He shakes his head. ]

I'm not against them, I'm just surprised.

[willynilly]

You don't think it's bad?

[axiomed]

No. I don't think it's bad. Everyone has their reasons for what they do and it's not my place to judge them.

[willynilly]

Hah... well, I'm not gonna argue with that. I'm just surprised, since lots of people don't have a problem with that.

[she's not exactly innocent herself.]

[axiomed]

What do they have a problem with?

[ If there are so many people with . . . quirks. Charles finds it hard to picture. A world where you could be open. Free. ]

Oh, I mean- you know, judging others. They don't really hesitate to think that way.

[axiomed]

Powers do tend to bring out the worst in some people. Not intentionally, but those without will hold their fears and those who are stronger . . . they like to prove it.

[willynilly]

Yeah, they... sure do.

Um, but that's okay! It's how they show they're passionate about stuff, and... if you use your powers for good, the reason behind it doesn't matter so much, I think.

Passion is certainly one word for it. But you're right.
