[Cue Ochako setting the communicator up and bouncing back, waving like it's some kind of peppy vlog. Cheers, everyone!]

Back to space we go! I don't know about everybody else, but I'll be glad that I don't have to keep wringing my clothes out all the time.

Anyway! That's not the point of this! While we're here, I was thinking... we've got a lot of kids with special abilities around here now, don't we? Or even just kids who wanna get stronger. The fleet is mostly safe, but sometimes things happen, and... well! Everyone benefits when we know what we're doing, right? Right!

Okay, so for everybody who doesn't know him, my teacher, Aizawa-sensei, is here! He's kind of a recluse so you probably wouldn't think it but he's really strong, and his teaching skills are top-notch! Back home, he's my homeroom teacher at the best heroics school in the world! He knows what's what. I bet he could teach anyone.

I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice to have a school here? Not just for superpowers, though I think that sort of thing is important... but I've never been out of school this long in my life. I feel like I'm getting dumber by the day. And it could be fun! We could make a classroom on the Iskaulit, we could get books and put together a real class and- oh, uniforms! We could get uniforms if we wanted!

[Ochako starts off on the Starstruck, taking care of her various chores while she covers responses, but at some point she'll venture over to the Iskaulit, poking around some of the rooms - both existing and unclaimed - to scout out what space is free in the vicinity of the library. She's humming to herself some upbeat song, visibly and very obviously in a good mood.]

Kubo's on the Starstruck with us. I'm gonna ask if he wants to come to school, too, actually. He has fun powers that I'm sure he could learn how to use better, too.

Ah, although, may I ask what will be taught here? I may offer my expertise in swordsmanship, if naught else.

Ummm, well, we're still working it out. First we need to get the teachers organized, then find out what they can teach, then figure out if enough people are interested in a full class or just one-on-one tutoring...

...turns out it's a lot of work to set up a school!

I don't know anyone but you who uses a sword, but I'll tell sensei about it! If the school's going to be teaching people how to fight, we should be able to offer a variety of options.

Oh, probably! Swords are popular, after all. And pretty cool, besides! Anyway, plenty of people use other weapons. Captain Rogers uses a shield. And Max would use anything he can get his hands on!

Yeah! You'd be surprised at how efficient he is with it! He can bounce it against all sorts of things in a way that makes it come right back to him. It's neat!

To be on the battlefield unarmed is to ask for death. Should he throw his weapon, he is left defenseless. What if his shield is to be caught, or repelled elsewhere?

And... One's weapon is the symbol of their honor, that which they have poured their training, their heart and soul, into. To treat such a thing so callously pains me. Were I to throw Scalecutter in such a manner, it would be as akin to throwing my very self.

Oh, well! It's a weapon that's curved, like this- [she makes the shape with her fingers in front of the camera] And it's designed to be thrown! Something about how it's designed means that if you throw it the right way, it'll come back to you.

But it still leaves you defenseless while it is thrown.

I think they're meant for long-range fighting? I'm not really sure, I don't actually know much about weapons in general.

[god, it's so laughable she doesn't even know how to properly respond. anything more dangerous than a kitchen knife sounds so out of character for her.]

Certainly. With your ability, you could perhaps even use a greatsword like my own.

Oh geez... I'd be scared of seriously hurting someone with that kind of weapon.
