[Upon waking on the Marsiva, Castiel had spent the next several hours poking around and finding almost exactly nothing. Perhaps if he'd been a little more computer saavy -- anything beyond simply poking ineffectually at it -- he might have found a little more, but as it stood, all he'd managed was finding out that he apparently couldn't even ask questions right. There are 'appropriate channels' and he can't find them.

At all.

It's time to figure out the... phone-communicator-thingamajig... maybe. Fortunately, it's not that hard.

I've never heard of the Marsiva. [That's kinda saying something, all things considered.

That's... that's also all he's got for now. Someone answer his unspoken questions so he doesn't have to stoop to actually answering them. (If there's anyone really out there. He's still not quite sure of that.)]

[That's very good to know. Castiel's expression doesn't exactly soften, but he's a little less guarded. Marginally.]

[ She shrugs. ]

I do not have an exact number. There are people in the Fleet who know better than I.

[ Her tone is flat. It's clear she's not fond of it, but she knows that it is better than the alternatives she's used to. ]

Indeed. There are plenty of ships that house us. The Marsiva is where we first arrive, to get us . . . settled.

I do not like it. It's... quiet. [Which is weird and not quite the word he's looking for, because he usually likes quiet.]

It is quiet. Normal for many weeks at a time. You'll not find yourself fighting for your life here.

Perhaps that quiet is what unsettles you.

[Wait. What? He doesn't know what to do if he's not fighting for his life.]

Perhaps it is. [His sigh isn't one of relief.] I had noticed my weapons were not with me.

They take all weapons when you arrive. There might be people here who can supply you with them or wait until the Fleet deems it time for you to have them.

[ Cara just got her agiels back after all. ]

[ There's a flicker of a smile. ]

[ That's a tough question. Cara's idea of what's necessary vastly differs from a normal person and she's acutely aware of that. Still, she takes time to consider it from all angles. ]
