When: Backdated a couple days ago - before the new planet mingle

[The feed opens up to one of the larger, empty rooms in the Iskaulit. There's a few boxes stacked around, but otherwise the room is starkly empty. Sokka grins, raising his arms in the middle of the room. In the background, Maglor seems to be moving stuff out of boxes.]

So, hey guys! Me and Maglor have decided it'd be a great idea to build a forge on the Iskaulit. So many people don't have a clue what they're doing with guns, we figured giving them a chance to have weapons more suited to their time period might help them out a little.

Plus, you know, Atroma can suck it with taking our weapons away from us. We'll just make new ones.

ANYhoo, it's obviously gonna be a while before it gets set up, but anyone willing to come help build it, or gather materials, that kind of thing would be really appreciated. We'll put your names on a little plaque or something. Hopefully, we'll get something awesome out of this.

I have no idea what a firebender is but I thought it might help. At least a bit.

They're from my world. People who can create and manipulate fire.

I don't manipulate fire though. I use arcane and ice magic as well but neither are useful here.

Really! There's a whole race of them.

Huh, that's pretty cool. My sister can use ice magic, but she's a waterbender. The only person who can control more than one element back home is the Avatar, and they're kind of a big deal.

That's amazing. I can't really imagine it well but I'm used to mages having access to several elements.

I'd love to meet your sister or this... Avatar, if they ever end up with the fleet.

Yeah, it's something that seems pretty unique to my world.

I'll be sure to point them in your direction. They were here, once, but they went home a while ago. It's just me now.

I understand. I'm frequently glad that no one I know is here. Even if protecting my king would be considerably easier here.

I hear you on that one. Better they're happy, and not trapped here. If time comes when I leave here, I know they'll be waiting for me.

It sure does. I mean, I'm not much of an optimist, but hope...that's important.

Luckily, hope doesn't need optimism. So it becomes a pleasant surprise.

She seems like an exceedingly optimistic person.

That's true, she won't let me do that, either. But I got a lot of people for that.

It doesn't hurt to have a few people like that.

It sure doesn't. As annoying as they can be sometimes, they're important.

Very important. I guess I'm sometimes that person with the friends I have back on Azeroth. Not often but...
