ok no band here but I will sing whatever you want if it means I get the story behind 'a bunch of extra arms'

well i mean the main question here is 'are you any good at singing'
bc that might color whether or not i want to tell that story :p

on a 1 to 10 scale I probably land a decent 7.
plus I'm not an insane diva which I think frankly makes me a superb catch as far as frontmen go.

well that probably means you are better at singing than i am at bass

the 'lots of arms' thing is kind of silly and really complicated and sounds kind of like i am just making it up
but i can tell you if you want!

hey, I am pretty sure the fleet order of the day is several impossible things before every meal. my disbelief is pretty permanently suspended by now.

so ok!! i am going to explain this as simply as i can

i used to have two bodies!
and when i would fall asleep in the "real" world, i would wake up in the other one, right?
which sounds like a dream!
but it wasnt, because my dream body was a real body in a real, different place

ok. for a somewhat crazy thing that actually makes a lot of sense. butterfly dreaming of being a man stuff, and all that.

but for some reason i could steal dream up extra arms for crazy bass solos sometimes

i am pretty sure, at least
my memories from prospit always ended up pretty hazy if im going to be honest, and its been years on top of that
but i definitely owned a bass that no normal person could play :p

it kind of ended the world

I am curious is this more of a jumanji gone terribly wrong situation or bloody mary gone terribly wrong situation

is the format of the game important for the story

is it messed up that the addition of the sims is what made that actually terrifying to me

i put my friends toilet in his room by accident ._.;;;

see that is what I mean

in any other situation that would be messed up. but that is the mildest of gaffes in a setting where you can mess things up as spectacularly as you can in the sims.

to try to simplify things
the game gave us these guide... spirit... things....
that could combine with objects
and they would sort of become game guides! that took on the characteristics of whatever they combined with!!!

so for example
daves combined with a bird and became super birdlike, right

again that makes an internally logical kind of sense

so uh
my guide sprite got combined with the corpse of my dream self

wait, dream-you died?

geez, that's horrible. I'm sorry.

i need to back up a bit
so you remember we were technically in a video game irl, right?

there was this mechanism that like
if our actual bodies died in a certain way!! our dream bodies could "wake up" with a bunch of really cool powers
which is where i got a lot of my powers

so!
my "spirit guide" thing got prototyped with my dead dream self, ok?
and then SHE got prototyped with my dog.....
and then my actual body died, too, which made me "wake up" as the guide which is why i have the dog ears

jesus there is no simple way to explain all of this
i lived it and i still get confused

the same thing happened to dave and that's why he had wings?

except davesprite never became human again
or went "godtier" like i did

daves domain was time, like how mine is space
davesprite was a dave from a failed timeline who came back into the past
and he merged with daves crow spirit guide thing

I am going to leave to the side exactly what time powers have to do with materializing snack foods and just roll with this one. it is what Dave would have wanted.

anyway. on the last episode of dragonball z you fused with your dead-dream-self/dog/spirit-guide entity after dying in real life and became some kind of superbeing in the dream world (prospit?) with godlike space powers
