[The video shows a man wearing a black T-shirt and coat. He is smiling and seems to be happy and cheerful. He has the strap of a sports bag over his shoulder. One hand is to his face, a finger touching his lips.

Despite having just woken up in the middle of space with no idea how he got here, he seems completely at ease.]

I wish someone had told me I was going to be on television today. Honestly, I'm grateful that you took me on my way home from practice because it means I have my skates, but I would have dressed up for the occasion had I known. A nice suit perhaps? At least a decent sweater. [He hand moves down to grip the sports bag's strap.]

I could look so much better given a little bit of notice. [Then he winks, and it's not clear if that's meant for anyone who is receiving this message, the much bigger audience they're told exists, or just because he likes winking.

Then, after a moment, he gets to the true purpose of this message.]

Oh, and if anyone has seen Yuuri Katsuki please let me know. He's Japanese, about 173 centimeters in height, has black hair and brown eyes, and wears glasses. Let him know that Victor is looking for him if you see him, hm?

[ She's had this conversation enough times to know what to say. ]

I suppose you're aware of the part about being on television, right? Do you know anything about the ships, crews or planets yet?

[goldkiss]

I know there is more than one ship and the one I am on is called The Marsiva. Can you tell me a bit more of the others?

[brainiest]

Of course. There's more than a dozen other ships, and on the ships there are different jobs based on what Augment you were given when you arrived. I'm on the Vanquish, for example, and I have a Lab Support Augment so I take care of anything medical related.

[goldkiss]

That's... the thing they put in my head, hm?

That's right. Please, don't try taking it off. It doesn't end well.

I would think so! Isn't it attached to my brain? I would think that tampering with it would be very dangerous.

Exactly. Do you know what your augment is?

I'd think it either helps them track what I'm doing or... something else? I guess that I'm not sure. Do you mind telling me?

Well, it all depends on what job they decided to give you. I suppose it does help them track us, but mine put a lot of information about science and medicine into my head. If you suddenly know a lot about something you didn't before then that's probably what your speciality is.

That's a little creepy isn't it? To just suddenly know all about a subject without studying it?

[brainiest]

Just a little bit, but... At least it means we know what we're doing.

It also makes a certain kind of sense. There's a reason that in the movies training is shown through a montage with interesting music. No one wants to know the truth of working hard to master your skill. They want the ballerina to dance flawlessly, they don't want to see her bloody and cracked toenails or the stress bruises on her ankles.

[He says all of this with a small smile fixed on his face and a tone of voice that is thoughtful and causal. Then he widens the smile a bit and adds, as if it's a bit of a joke.]

That wouldn't make for very good television, would it?

[ Hermione blinks, watching him for a moment, before her expression softens and she nods. ]

Exactly. While I quite enjoy sitting down and learning about things I admit that it wouldn't be very practical in the long run. If we're here to entertain people then we'd need to do more than just sit and read.

[ It's an interesting thought and it does give the augments a little more sense. ]

Learning isn't interesting to watch, as fun as it might be to do.

I feel as if this way won't be as fun or as rewarding. But it will be much faster.

You'll be surprised at how stressful this place can be. [ At least her scars are from the world before this one and not... This one. ] I'd be happy to teach you more about the fleet if it would help you feel more rewarded.

Say, so each of these ships. Do any of them have exercise rooms or dance studios perhaps?

Well, the Iskaulit has a few empty rooms and a gym. I'm not sure if it would be big enough for a dance studio, but you could take a look once you're allowed off the Marsiva?

You can travel between the ships once you're assigned one?

[brainiest]

Yes! Each ship has shuttles and you can use them to visit the others.

[goldkiss]

That's good! That means if my Yuuri does arrive I can easily get to him! Can you visit the Marsiva once you leave?

Unfortunately, no one can go or leave from the Marsiva - you're sort of... Teleported out once you're shuffled. It happens weekly, though.

That means, if we arrives after I leave I'll have to wait a bit to see him, but we can communicate like you and I are.

That's not so bad.

I think he might enjoy staying home though. He has a family and I need someone to feed Makkachin while I'm here. [A pause, before he realizes she has no idea who Makkachin is.] That's my dog.
