[The video shows a man wearing a black T-shirt and coat. He is smiling and seems to be happy and cheerful. He has the strap of a sports bag over his shoulder. One hand is to his face, a finger touching his lips.

Despite having just woken up in the middle of space with no idea how he got here, he seems completely at ease.]

I wish someone had told me I was going to be on television today. Honestly, I'm grateful that you took me on my way home from practice because it means I have my skates, but I would have dressed up for the occasion had I known. A nice suit perhaps? At least a decent sweater. [He hand moves down to grip the sports bag's strap.]

I could look so much better given a little bit of notice. [Then he winks, and it's not clear if that's meant for anyone who is receiving this message, the much bigger audience they're told exists, or just because he likes winking.

Then, after a moment, he gets to the true purpose of this message.]

Oh, and if anyone has seen Yuuri Katsuki please let me know. He's Japanese, about 173 centimeters in height, has black hair and brown eyes, and wears glasses. Let him know that Victor is looking for him if you see him, hm?

Interesting. I've never heard of Russia or Japan I'm afraid, although they do sound curious places. Do many men from your world skate on ice?

I suppose there is a high number of those who do it for fun, but competitively? It's a relatively small community. The world wide competitions, for example, tend to have a very select number of skaters. You're lucky if you get into the finals.

My Yuuri made it to the Grand Prix final this year. He was the sixth person to qualify, and the last.

It sounds awfully competitive. You must be very good if you manage to compete on such a large scale against others.

[His Yuuri? Was this his friend, perhaps? Or something more?...]

This Yuuri...is he your close friend?

I am one of the best in history. Though, Yuuri managed to break one of my records.

As far as how close we are, we're more than friends. [A pause, because he lets that settle in for a moment, before adding.]

I'm his coach.

Of course, I shall not pry anymore, since it isn't my business. You sound like an honourable man, Victor. Yuuri must be glad of having someone to look up to like that. An inseparable bond.

Oh, it's more than just confidence. I could go on about my accomplishments, but they only make sense if you have some background knowledge of the ice skating world. For now, it would just sound like bragging.

[He gives a little wink, making it unclear he if actually disapproves of bragging or not.]

When it comes to Yuuri and I, I would say I was lucky one. Any coach would be happy to have a student like him, but he's mine and I am his.

There is an international space station but no humans have gone beyond the moon.

What a fantastical thought; to above and beyond the stars. Some say if men were to reach out into space, we would have been given wings.

Oh, it is, if you are the poor soul who gets caught in it's path. They have very sharp claws and teeth and look like a large cat.

We have large cats on Earth. One of my fellow skaters adores tigers, for instance. I think he even likes to think of himself as one.
