I've been taking a lot of jobs since we got here, so money's not an issue right now. Going by myself is fine, I don't care about that. ... But how do I figure out what to wear? I've never done anything like this.

[She exhales through her nose, trying to relax somewhat.]

This feels weird. Guess I'm just asking for help with clothing. Thanks, if anyone does.

[About to turn the broadcast off, she stops.]

Do you happen to know what they consider fashionable here? I've just arrived so I haven't had a chance to see many people or what they wear. That might be the first step in figuring out what to wear to event like that.

Say, how does one get a suit for this event? As I've just arrived... I doubt my bank account from back home will be accessible, and I arrived in clothes that are far too unimpressive for such a party.

I can't imagine it's a very popular profession in space. They probably have some kind of fancy polymer material that doesn't take to a thread and needle.
