Who: The intrepid crew of the SS Paisley!
Broadcast: anything could happen, I guess?
Action: Anywhere on the ship
When: From the shuffle through the end of the month
[ Well the ship could only stay empty but for her captain for so long. And I'm sure the audience is just DYING to know what happens when these older folks show up and find their ship is captained by a 17-year-old with an attitude problem.
Let the games begin... ]

wee hours of the morning between the kitchen and his office
i was ordered to tag this on pain of death :'(
for the first time in god knows how long, she is legitimately bored. she's tempted to bring up the network, to see if there's anyone around that might answer a few questions - but then she hears it: footsteps in the distance. one of her crewmates is awake. but don't they need to sleep? everyone settled down not too long ago...
clearly that means she has to investigate. the dark elf pushes herself from her seat upon the floor of her medical bay, peering out into the hallway and then slowly making her way toward the kitchen. where she sees joel who... she's fairly certain hasn't left his room in days. ]
Joel. [ hi. ]
why are you telling me that i'm the one who ordered you to
Lioriley.
[he sounds like he doesn't want to do this. why. i just left for two seconds.]
telling everyone else that looks at this that youre a horrible monster
I had not expected you to be up so soon. Did you have trouble sleeping? [ she doesn't move from her spot on the doorway just yet, dark eyes flitting over to the glass on the counter, then back to joel.]
bares fangs at remainder of crew
... complicated.
[i want to know ellie is okay.]
I see you're up, too.

she shrugs, ]
I was never asleep to begin with. [ you need to stop saying weird shit lior. ]

... Not used to peace and quiet.
[even where he is now there are raiders and zombies. he's not going to ask why she is... still up... yet...]
no subject
Are you used to a more rambunctious atmosphere, then? I doubt that would do very well for your sleeping habits, either. [ was that a joke? we just don't know. ]

Go figure.
[eyeroll!!]
no subject
Go figure... what? [ WAS THERE MORE TO THAT SENTENCE? ]
no subject
It's an expression, it--... never mind.
[headshake]
I'm used to... danger. [that's the easiest way to do this]
no subject
Danger. [ she repeats, opens her mouth, closes it - does that a few times as she debates what she wants to say to that. ] Then I suppose peace and quiet is a welcomed reprieve from what dangers you may have faced back home. It may take some getting used to, but I am sure you will manage.
[ she finally steps into the kitchen properly and leans against one of the counters. ]
How are your quarters? Comfortable enough?
no subject
... Better'n a bunk room.

she ends up laughing though, quietly. the lines along her skin flicker once more, brighten just a little. ]
Not so inclined to share, hm?
no subject
Not so inclined to sleep near strangers.
no subject
That is why we work to replace the title of 'strangers' with something more familiar. T'would not be so bad to sleep near friends, would it?

You are right, trust is a very important aspect of friendship - of any relationship, really. [ she should leave it there. just agree and go along her merry way, but she can't. because she's an idiot and she refuses to leave this blatant tension in the air. ] You are not a man who trusts so easily, I take it?
no subject
Well, aren't you the nosiest little thing.
[let's see what's behind door #2, bob!!
[it's the loneliness that comes with a tone of voice that snide.]

why are there so many ELVES ON THIS SHIP]... [joel gives a sort of grunt in response to that sound when he looks up. he takes a drink of that water, but doesn't... walk away. there's an air of intimidation coming effortlessly off of him, but that says nothing as to whether or not a powerful elf like koltira would actually take it seriously.]
