[ It's not often that Bucky manages to visit the Starstruck, but after Steve's glitch, he feels the need to check in on him. Old habits are the hardest to break after getting comfortable with someone. It had been a little unsettling and a lot relieving, seeing Steve like that. He'll never admit to it,of course.

He manages to find Steve in the armory, cleaning weapons. He doesn't say anything, simply occupies the space until Steve notices him. Watching the way he's invested in the task. ]

[ bucky's presence is always a silent one. steve has gotten used to it, the quiet coming and going of his best friend. the arrivals are, naturally, his favorite parts. one moment everything is the same, the next, he feels his presence, looks up. ]

[ He doesn't step into the armory, opting to give Steve his space and lean against the doorway. ]

Need any help? [ Of course he doesn't, but doesn't stop himself from asking. ]

[ it's clear he doesn't really, it's the proximity he's after. he shuffles to the side, making room for bucky to sit next to him if he'd like. ]

Just checking that everything is ready. I figure those might come in handy sometime soon.

[ He moves into the room, and he does take a seat, though it's not with his back to the door. He picks up one of the guns that has yet to be disassembled and works to do just that. ]

[ but as he looks at him, there is an amused sort of doubt there. when it comes to these sort of missions, well. very rarely can they be defined as uneventful. ]

[ Of course he is. Steve wasn't there for the last one, but it seems a shame not to go this time. Plus, this Orfwyn Darkhorse has information about the Atroma. He can't ignore that holds some interest.

Bucky picks up a rag, cleaning the now disassembled gun pieces. ]

[ he smiles as he works, cleaning one part after another. ]

Especially the kind that have formal wear on the invitation. Really my kind of gig.

[ he's going to be so awkward. he won't hear the end of it from any of them, least of all bucky, not to mention peggy. ]

[ Once the parts of his weapon are cleaned, Bucky starts to reassemble it. He needs to keep his hands busy. ]
