That it is. Though I gotta say, it'll still be one hell of a sight.

[ sod heaven. peggy knows precisely what he means. she, too, watches him in his element and risks being overtaken with awe. it had happened during nearly every bit of film reel that came back to her. circumstances haven't let her see it again now that their lives are shared, but perhaps that's just as well.

[ she gives him a finger, he goes for both hands, tugging her into a familiar tangle that's usually reserved for late nights and early mornings. but if he can have it now without the interruptions of sleep or their daily struggle, then that's already a really good anniversary present. ]

[ despite the sweetness found together -- propped up, off-centre, on his chest and with an arm of his wrapped securely around her middle -- peggy doesn't allow something like cuddling to erode her skepticism. ]

[ but he's trying to control his laughter. hopefully, he could keep her from deciding it won't do until the bandits are introduced. he has a feeling the romance might not do the whole trick. ]

Clever. [ peggy huffs, curling tighter into place. an odd punishment that isn't a punishment at all. in the end, she did promise to watch the dratted film. she might as well get it over with.
