[Sokka's been asleep for about two weeks, and he's certainly been busy in his dreaming state. When he wakes up and finds himself in his own captain bed, there's a brief moment of confusion. He'd only just been home, having a delicious meal, knowing his life, his Tribe faced an uncertain future. And now he's...on the Blue Fish. The name comes back to him with the low hum of the engine. Well, at least he knew what he was getting here, mostly.

He'll be getting up and exploring around, please feed him. He had the BEST food memory-dream.

And later, once he's learned a little more from his crew of the events he's missed, he turns on the network.]

So apparently, Atroma decided to let me sleep though us finally getting any kind of answers. Because that's funny. I'm laughing. I need details, guys, anything you can give me that you found out. Doesn't matter if I've heard it before, different perspectives are important.

It was... a trip. I'm still trying to decide if it was good or bad.

Sounds like my entire post-war existence, honestly. Things are a lot more complicated now.

Okay, so the absolute short version of events is that the Interceptors contacted us and asked us for help in stealing Atroma-related information from a party. We went, we partied, we ransacked some computers and stole an AI. We brought it all back here. Soon after, the Marsiva produced a cannon that blasted a whole bunch of white light through space that may or may not have pulverised the Interceptors. Then they stole all the information, thanked us for our hard work, and we haven't heard anything since.






...so tell me what part you want me to expand on.

...Yeah, that sounds like a regular good old happy adventure with Atroma

[Geez. ]

Did the AI have anything interesting? Do we know what it was built to do?

It probably did. Most of it went right over my head, but there were some things in there that were a lot of food for thought.

[She huffs, pouring herself a drink because why not, and her voice drops just a little.] I'm glad to report I wasn't the only paranoid person this time around. Sam and I came up with a written version of everything we found. The Atroma didn't get that.

Well, information is information, I guess.

[He offers he a wry smile. ]

See, and people tell me being paranoid doesn't do you any good. This just proves that wrong. At least we got something that's ours from all that.

It's information that's still useful to a lot of people with a background in computers and technology, so I don't begrudge that. [Her skillset is just more, uh. Elsewhere.]

Which is generally a transcript of the conversation she had with the Interceptors after they were fired on. They suffered casualties and will have to back off for a while, but they're okay.]

[Actual computery stuff tends to sail over his head. He picks up the paper, glancing around them before leaning in to squint at it. Then he slides it back over to her, stealthy as anything.]
