[Sokka's been asleep for about two weeks, and he's certainly been busy in his dreaming state. When he wakes up and finds himself in his own captain bed, there's a brief moment of confusion. He'd only just been home, having a delicious meal, knowing his life, his Tribe faced an uncertain future. And now he's...on the Blue Fish. The name comes back to him with the low hum of the engine. Well, at least he knew what he was getting here, mostly.

He'll be getting up and exploring around, please feed him. He had the BEST food memory-dream.

And later, once he's learned a little more from his crew of the events he's missed, he turns on the network.]

So apparently, Atroma decided to let me sleep though us finally getting any kind of answers. Because that's funny. I'm laughing. I need details, guys, anything you can give me that you found out. Doesn't matter if I've heard it before, different perspectives are important.

[That's his latest Life Lesson He Learned. Yay.]

...And I'm sorry. For people who lost people. Seems there was a lot of that while I was asleep.

[Such a boy scout. Of course, Sokka's there on time too, so he gets it. He gives a wave of his hand. ]

Hey, dude.

[And he answers that wave with a nod.]

Hey, Sokka. How are you feeling?

Not as refreshed as I should be after a two week nap, but what can you do. How about you, bud?

As well as I can be. [Coming from Shiro, that's extra cryptic.] I think seeing those cannons left us all a little shaken. How much have you learned and how much do you want to ask?

[Super cryptic. Wow bro. ] So not great?

Well, yeah, knowing they can blast us into nothing without a second thought is kinda jarring. I know a bit, but seeing it from a fresh perspective never hurts. You might have seen something someone else might have missed.

[He nods. That's an excellent way to put it. Sokka is a smart guy.]

We took some files from the mansion. New upgrades for the ships, information on Atroma, and an AI. We lost the AI and the information on the network, but we hid a copy here in the Iskaulit. It's not complete - lots of information was missing, or heavily encrypted. But we got some interesting bits. The show is real, but I believe it's safe to assume Atroma has some dark plans behind it.

[He's the Plan Guy. He LIVES for this. ]

...The show is actually real? That's...well, that's something. For a while there, I just assumed the audience wasn't real at all.

Did the AI end up doing anything? Saying anything?

It is. We have a list of rantings from the previous seasons. The Interceptors are former participants that managed to escape, too.

[He shakes his head, obvious frustration on his expression.]

We couldn't take a proper look at the copy, the cannons wiped everything.

That...makes sense, I guess. How they know about us, when no one else seems to for some weird reason.

[Wow, thanks Atroma.]

It probably would have done something awful to the ships anyway, knowing our luck.

I would like to know how they hacked our systems, but they won't tell. They won't say how they escaped, either, but I'm not sure that was such a great idea after all. They escaped the show, but they can't return home. Atroma is the only one that has the power to do that.

[Funny how Sokka mentions that... Shiro smiles a bit.]

Actually, we've found new upgrades for the ships too. Including the Iskaulit.

So they're essentially just stuck here in space. I wonder if that means they lose out on all the other stuff Atroma provides. Like bringing people back from the dead.

[Oh, that's interesting.]

For real? The Iskaulit, too? That is generous. Suspiciously generous.

If attacking them with a cannon was something Atroma went for, then I'm going to say yes, they're missing the other perks too.

[He can't blame Sokka for being suspicious - he is, too.]

It really is. On one hand, I wouldn't want them doing things to the Iskaulit. On the other hand, if they can offer these upgrades in the first place, doesn't that mean they already are in the Iskaulit's system?

Good old Atroma, nice to know they won't hesitate on the kill-shot if they want to.

That's...a depressingly good point. I always hoped they had no control over it at all, now? Maybe they always did.

[That was their ONE THING, Atroma. ]

This has never happened before, correct? Atroma reacting with violence?

[The irony of asking that before calibrations BYE HOSTS IS WAS (NOT) NICE TO MEET YOU.]

I hope we weren't the ones to give them access.

That's right. They've always just...well hardly reacted at all. Sometimes, glitches would go down, which I guess you could call an act of spite or something, but never all-out violence.

[Yeah bye hosts, everything has gone to shit now \o/]

Ugh, I really hope not. Maybe they worked something out via our augment or something.
