[Sokka's been asleep for about two weeks, and he's certainly been busy in his dreaming state. When he wakes up and finds himself in his own captain bed, there's a brief moment of confusion. He'd only just been home, having a delicious meal, knowing his life, his Tribe faced an uncertain future. And now he's...on the Blue Fish. The name comes back to him with the low hum of the engine. Well, at least he knew what he was getting here, mostly.

He'll be getting up and exploring around, please feed him. He had the BEST food memory-dream.

And later, once he's learned a little more from his crew of the events he's missed, he turns on the network.]

So apparently, Atroma decided to let me sleep though us finally getting any kind of answers. Because that's funny. I'm laughing. I need details, guys, anything you can give me that you found out. Doesn't matter if I've heard it before, different perspectives are important.

Why would they do that? It's not like attacking us is going to get them to the Atroma, right?

I don't know. I mean, the nebula did disconnect us from Atroma for a while? I was planning to ask them about it if I ever got the chance to, but nooooo I had to sleep through it.

[Keith considered that for a moment, leaning on the back of the closest chair now and crossing his arms.]

Without control over the ships, there's no way to get back there, I'm guessing. But... there must have been some kind of interference in the nebula. Did anyone figure out what about it got you disconnected?

Nope. Electromagnetic disturbance maybe? Whatever it was, it got Atroma rattled. They announced when everything was back in working order and everything.

[Keith was curious, definitely.]

I wonder if we could figure out a way to replicate it. You know, break the connection ourselves.

Someone with a communications or engineering augment would likely know the most in order to pull that off, but I feel like it would have to be someone who also is familiar with that stuff to begin with. Not just someone who arrived here and didn't know anything about it before.

Maybe? We'd have to come across another nebula and have the chance to actually study it- work out what makes it tic.

[He smiles, tapping his head. ]

Luckily, I have engineering. I've been here a while, but everything I know about space is what I've learned from being here... [a pause, a smile] but I do know someone who's a major space expert.
