[The salt of the sea no longer fills her nostrils; she cannot hear the waves and she senses that she is not amongst her fellows or onboard a ship any longer. Panic would be an acceptable first emotion and with how the young Queen jerks up from her bed, she clearly considers it.

But a Dragon does not show her weakness. Rubbing absently at her neck, clad in black, Daenerys familiarizes herself with her surroundings and, eventually, her communication's device.

After watching others making use of it, she learns quickly, violet eyes sharp and intent on the task. What magic is this?]

I commend you for your audacity. If you think I am weaker cut off from my allies and my children, you are sadly mistaken.

[Now onto negotiations. She settles herself, expression calm, adapting to her new, strange circumstances.]

What do you want? Gold? Power? Ships? [She is not parting from either option, of course, but any hint about her captor(s) is useful.

[Now that's an interesting question.] Fear, aggravation, a sense of hopelessness and boredom, for the most part. They want us complacent.

That is true - I frankly could use some benevolence. Thank the gods you have some of that on hand. [He teased, but she was kinder than most leaders he had ever met.]

... Yes. Yes I can understand that. [Perhaps one day he could put aside his anger and just feel pity, but it was still too hard to let go of that hatred.]

Tyrion is part of a questionable and downright disgraceful family, but, then again, so is she. He rose beyond it and she will too.]

He does bore easily. [And playthings are so hard to come by at his size!] Their way of handling things will get them there soon enough. I'm sorry you were cursed with poor siblings. They do not deserve you.

[She is not surprised that he has more protective feelings towards his brother. Jaime seems more like Rhaegar in the sense that he does not shut his brother out. Cersei, on the other hand, is too like Viserys for comfort.]

We shall see what becomes of them and if they choose to fight. [Daenerys loses her smile, ready for information.] Can you meet me here? If not, how might I travel to you?

[As much as Jaime has hurt him - Jaime also saved him. Jaime loves him and Tyrion, despite his better and harsher instincts, still loves him as well.]

Yarn does not smell nearly as good to him. He follows his stomach when he is not listening to me. [A small issue, but she is choosing to trust her instincts. She has no other choice and she refuses to chain her children for a moment longer.] We cannot choose our relatives, but they need not be our only family.

I really must look into creative fascinating toys for dragons. I can only imagine it would mean I have to do something rather wild. Like attach it to a human they can chase around. Perhaps a cow. [Yes, he is making light of the situation, but only because he knows it will be quite some time until she sees her dragons again.]

I think you might be fonder of them than you let on. [How can she blame him? She smiles, reminiscing about her fierce children. She cannot doubt that she will see them again, but being parted from them hurts.]
