[So, if there was one thing this young girl knew it was flying around in space. She'd spent so much time in the Flying Get in the past two years, and even before that, it had become somewhat natural to her. It's not strange to be on a ship-- but it was decidedly not the one she knew. It was jarring, but her immediate instincts were to look around. When she was finally settled on things is when she decidedly addressed the fleet on her own (whatever embarrassing flailing might have been shown distinctly ignored by her).

Perhaps surprisingly, the smile on her lips is easy and natural. She is used to things like this already, even if it should be a little strained given the circumstances. Always smiling: that's an idol. Even when you're angered or insulted take the situation gracefully. Or as much as possible in her case, but today she's trying hard to focus.]

Ah-- Hello! I'm the sixth generation Takahashi Minami of AKB0048. We were just on our way to a live on Naniwastar when-- [ she hesitates to find the word to say and then fails to ] -- this happened. Mm, I'm afraid we already were going to hold a once in a lifetime performance, but since I'm here I won't let the name of 0048 down.

[Carefully and with certainty since by viewing others she definitely knew the situation now, but she doesn't let that stop her the rest of the way. She pauses to continue on.]

I hope the people in the fleet don't mind answering a question or two. They're quick and I'll happily repay you... In the galaxy I'm from entertainment like this is banned, ah-- That is to say, if we're really on television right now, I don't think it's anything to do with them. But, even so, have you heard of anyone else from AKB0048?

Because if there's more than this being a prison instead of a tv show goes up higher on her list and she's not okay with that. Nevermind that it's prison-like already, in some senses, but she's used to pressure from fans and television. They were just stuck there and part of her wondered about how this could work and what she'd do, and that's when she starts abruptly again:]

The ship we use for 00 has a practice room, I don't suppose there's going to be any place decent for that right? If I'm going to be visiting for a while I can't start slipping up on choreography so easily.

It's not much, but if I can help someone out here somehow let me know! Ah... Not that I'm not the one completely new around here, but we travel to different planets a lot so any little bit helps, right? Thanks for listening!

Entertainment is banned? Sheesh, that sounds really harsh. What do people do in their free time?

Can't say I've heard of anything called AKB0048. Depending on what ship you wind up on, though, there might be room to practice choreography. [Hey, he's not judging.] Some of the ships have more upgrades than others.

It is. The planet I was born on had total entertainment ban, too. The planets that do are... No one's really happy, I guess. All the know is work and school. Some people sneak it in and that's how, but it's dangerous.

[ It's weird to hear someone not knowing about 00, but not as weird as it might be. The universe was large, that might mean she was far away from DES and DTGO-- which wasn't necessarily a good thing. ] Thanks. I might get lucky and wind up on one of them. If not then I'll just have to do my best to get one.

Oof, that's gotta be pretty awful. [Sounds a bit like how the Organization was, to be honest. All work and no play. That was why he'd never RTC'd right after a mission.]

So are you some kind of fugitive or something, then? Doing illegal performances?

[ She nods but doesn't elaborate more on it. She's seen worlds that had no entertainment and it was a police state. Things were rationed and barred, if DES was in charge life was a struggle. But that's why 0048 would come. She couldn't forget that.

Laughing slightly she lets it go before deciding. ]

Something like that. As members of 00 we don't hurt anyone and if it's attacked we'll always protect our fans. We just want to bring our song to everyone.

Er... I wasn't suggesting you hurt anybody--you don't look like that kind of fugitive.

Well, you'll certainly have an audience here, if you wanna perform. I bet you'll get killer ratings for it, too. [He's being a little sarcastic; he likes to mug for the cameras (wherever they are) as much as anybody, but the whole concept is a little wearying.]

I know that. It's just something DES tries to get everyone to believe. That ours singing is dangerous and we'll hurt people. It's a good thing to clear up.

[ She nods somewhat. Cameras and ratings weren't things she was unused to, after all. It wasn't long ago that ranking for senbatsu happened-- and that was all about getting voted as number one. ] We'll sing wherever we are.[ A beat. ] I hope you'll listen then!

[He makes a bit of a face.]

How is singing gonna hurt anybody? I'm surprised people buy that, but I guess when the folks in power say jump...

[He smiles a bit.]

I'll look forward to it--we could use a little entertainment around here, I think.

[More newcomers like her! And here Kairi thought she was gonna be alone on this ship for awhile.

As has been the practice with the last two, Kairi goes off to search for the newcomer right away. She's gotten to know the layout of the deck, so it doesn't take her quite as long this time.

Smiling, she waves when she finds Kanata, if anything to let her know she wasn't alone here, too.]

I thought I heard someone new here.

[ While she didn't think she was alone, Kanata wasn't expecting other people to come out and find her. She'd just stopped and put away communicator when she glanced up to see Kairi waving. Shifting it away she raised her hand. ]

Ah, hey. [ She moves the same hand awkwardly to rub the back of her neck before nodding. ] Mm. It seems like it. You, too, huh?

Mmhmmm. Just two days ago. It's really jarring, isn't it?

Two days, huh... [ After a moment she nods. ] The kidnapping is and the situation, but the rest isn't all that different from normal.

Really? You've been on a ship like this before? [That was her assumption, at least.]
