I didn't name it, but I don't feel right changing it, either. It's well known now. But yes, I think we can manage dark and unoccupied corners for the right occasion.

It's been around for about a year and a half. The guy who created it asked for staff within a few weeks of me getting here, so it wasn't long after that.

Considering the lack of answers? That's not surprising. Still sucks when you've gotta be the ambassador for them.

Thanks. The first time it kind of made sense if you believe their line that they were just fixing things. Most people's augments were on the blink at the time.

This time, I think they just wanted to show they were in charge.

Not sure what I believe. I'm sure part of it may very well be face value, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't have caused them to be messed up to begin with. Especially if this being a TV show and used for entertainment is true.

Well, it's a loud enough message that I'm listening. Be nice if they kept talking instead of just giving a sign and that's that.

They have plausible deniability on that first point. Just before I arrived, the fleet was attacked and driven into a nebula. It shorted out a lot of systems. The ships needed repair, too.

None of which is to say the Marsiva couldn't have orchestrated the whole thing for ratings, if that is indeed what they're up to.

That's something I haven't heard before. Could I ask who repaired them? And I guess how (no detailed explanation, just a basic idea)? How suspicious.

Exactly. I mean they brought us here to begin with. Figure our lives are a commodity in some way regardless, but it's figuring out to what end.

Mysteries are only fun when I'm not part of them.

The Atroma repaired them, supposedly. While we were all stuck on the Marsiva. When they delivered us back to our ships, all repairs had been done. They made some design changes, too. So I can't really give you detail, just that the calibrations was meant to be twofold-- fix us, fix our ships without us underfoot.

I realize this adds nothing to the conversation, but all I can really come up with is how this sounds like a load of horseshit.

Which I suspect you've probably felt as long as you've been here.

Pretty much. It's impossible at this point to work out what's really going on, and hard to discuss on these things anyway. I mean, they're an Atroma gift and all.

[Which is one of the reasons Nami suggests looking her up later, tbh.]

I've heard "Atroma" mentioned in a singular and plural. It's multiple people(?), right?

Best guess is it's an organisation fronted by representatives we occasionally get to see.

[And occasionally get to see murdered by live broadcast, but let's not go there.]

But people have their own theories, and we have no concrete proof of anything.
