That sounds... suspiciously like how Adstring came to a close. Now I really wonder how they're all connected.

I tried jumping through my portal to home and ended up here.

[That is interesting news, indeed. Ginko rubs his chin thoughtfully a moment, but he doesn't really know what to say about it so he doesn't say anything.]

Usopp invited me to, yeah.

[He kind of glances at her sideways, wondering how she'll take that. But also he'll answer her earlier question.]

As far as I could tell they were both doing fine. [Other than the memory loss.] I didn't have much time to talk to the blonde guy; he didn't stay long, either time. But Usopp was... lively, I guess. Kept himself busy, between work and whatever the Tree threw at us.

[Dude, who is she to turn down a friend of Usopp's. Like they didn't adopt Sam from their last hellhole, too. She smiles cheerfully, putting aside all her concerns for now. They're not Ginko-related, anyway. Just what-the-hell-is-up-with-these-places-related.]

Well, welcome to the Straw Hats as well, I guess. That makes it doubly easy for me to give you these. Though I don't know if they'll help, but--

[She digs into the pocket of her shirt and holds a packet of expensive cigarettes up between two fingers.]

I have a small stash of these in case Sanji ever does turn up here-- he's the blonde guy, in case you didn't know. [Sitting through one hellhole and watching your chef go through withdrawal was bad enough. Even if he might not be her chef anymore.] But if they're useful to you, you can take them until you find a preferred brand of your own.

He looks surprised for a moment, before grinning and accepting the pack she holds out. "Thanks, I appreciate it."

It's not exactly what he usually smokes, but he's not going to turn down a gift this perfect for his needs--especially not one offered by a friend of a friend.

"Sanji, huh... good to know his real name, just in case he shows up here." Not that he'd wish these places on anyone, of course, but you never know who they'll pull in.

He might. I don't know if he'd know you, but you never know. [She smiles wistfully.]

If you're lab support, also-- what's your experience with herbs? We've still got a catalogue of them tucked away from the last time we had a doctor. He was collecting them.

[A slight head tilt, as he tucks the pack of cigarettes into a pocket.]

Well... I might know some of them? It depends. I was something of a medicine seller back in my own world, so I'd know any herbs that came from there, or anything that might have been grown in Edensphere. I can take a look, anyway.

[She grins.] Well, you've got more of an advantage than me. They're not herbs you'll recognise, I'd imagine, but if you know anything about how to discern what they do it'd help.
