Who: Rick Grimes and You. (OTA).
Broadcast: Fleetwide.
Action: All around (the ships, Iskaulit etc).
When: Now and onward! Basically, catch all for July.
A. Exploring/Investigation.
[ Given there are now more places to roam around and with his job as security, Rick will be doing just that. No matter where he might be, Rick will have paper and pen in hand, making notes that might appear to not make any sense given they'll be in morse code. He'll also ask questions to anyone who wanders by him, especially about the augments and job details.
When it comes to being on the Iskaulit, Rick will be trying to be find edible food and working out. He needs to run off excess nerves and energy. Also, trying to find a decent drink. So, bother him. ]
B. Glitch!
[ A slight augment glitch will make it so Rick sounds British for a little while but still with hints of his country twang and speech patterns. It'll be a mess and completely frustrating for him. ]
C. Video.
[ Another sudden change left Rick more frustrated than ever but the loss of Daryl and Maggie just twisted a knife worse in him. What happened? Did they return home or had something far worse happened to them? He wanted to believe the former but experience led him to always holding onto the latter.
With a deep sigh, he grabbed for the device to see what the network had to say about things. ]
Everyone is in different places now? [ He paused with a frown. ] Do people leave a lot? Just without warnin'? [ Now, he shook his head, looking sad for a moment. ]
If anybody needs any help with target practice, let me know. [ It would make things feel a little more level for him. Almost like how things were in Alexandria. ]
D. Wild Card.
[ anything else not listed above! if anyone wants to plot or want a starter, hit me up at
snowflakecrowns. also, the glitch will basically be Rick with Andrew Lincoln's accent. can be listened to here and Rick's accent here! ]

Well, I'm more of a listener myself. I'm afraid no one I know is present (to my knowledge) and the only photograph I have is from 1996. Everyone in it looks a lot different, myself included. So it would be something like "have you seen this, but plus 80 pounds or so?" Guess it's worth a try, they still look the same at the most basic level to me.
[ Barry doesn't look too different, he's kept his hair short and his facial hair trimmed. He still looks like a dad. ]
Well, there are other things that do, too. Just one of many. Technology, I guess, is starting to blindside me. Bet some kids don't even know what a corded phone looks like.
You give the kind of pep talks I do, ha ha. :)

Sorry to hear you don't have any of your people here with you. But at least they're safer where they are? Seems like a lot goes on around here.
Technology changes too fast to keep up with. Prefer the basics myself but that's more of an old school outlook, isn't it?
We'll always lift each others spirits.

That's what I was thinking. Guess anywhere for us is out of stove and into the frying pan. When you beat up biological weapons for a living, nothing is written in stone.
Ha ha, see, that's the same thing! "Old school" is just admitting it using a different phrase. But I agree. Nothing I'd rather do on an evening off than sit and read a damn manual for some new gadget, they got me.
Alright, you're a little better than I am at it. That's a nice one.

How long you been here? Have you been round this place much?
Heard there's a lot of different ships.
The trick is to leave out the important parts so you gotta get help then they sucker you into getting something to go along with your original gadget.

About a week before we got shuffled onto ships. Probably not the best timing.
Seems to be the case. From what I've heard there's at least four I've heard named not including the one I'm on (SS Heron).
Oh, you think I'm a novice at that, huh? We've got a tech expert and inventor employed at the BSAA. You can bet your ass that I'll drag him around and make him help. If we need to get a new phone with new encryptions and new walkies and new headgear every few months, even if it makes sense, he's going to walk me through it.
no subject
Did you endure any of those - calibrations? That's what they were called anyway.
We're on different ships. I know at least five now I think. Maybe six.
Looks like we could use that to try and figure out some things round here. Things aren't adding up. Too much unknowns. And that's real dangerous. The less you know, the more others can catch you unaware.

That Marsiva was big enough and then some. I wonder why there needs to be so many ships and why it's inaccessible otherwise?
It would be appreciated. I know my way around better than I might seem when it comes to tech. Tried to do a little hacking to no avail, unfortunately. Although I'm not sure what I'd do if I had succeeded.
The best we can do is educate ourselves in that case. Not worth worrying over all the unknown variables, though. That worry can be just as dangerous as not knowing.

There's got to be a reason they divided us up and how they did it. Nothing is ever random in these kinda situations.
Knowing the important parts can help us. How things are run. What's the purpose.
Can't seem to find that yet.

Maximum entertainment value, I figure. It's easier to tell myself there's more reason than that, but at the same time I do believe the universe is pretty random. Hard to find a middle ground there. What makes them bring people from one place and not another? People you know, don't know... More entertainment? Too much?
Guess knowing would be pretty swell.
Not sure I believe the intergalactic kidnapping for entertainment spiel, but it seems just as likely as anything else might be.
Well, hope that you do. Stress and pressure can do wonders in a tight spot, but I figure a little space can, too.
no subject
I think they're doing other things and we gotta figure out what it is.
They mess with minds with the augments and that's probably closer to the truth than some kinda entertainment.
They've got a reason for why they bring certain people and not others.
There's always reasons for things like that.
no subject
Don't doubt that's the case. Just hard to know where to start, feels like you're in the middle of it rather than with any kind of known path. I'm all for exploring, of course, but it feels like we're always miles behind.
Could be that we're just an experiment. Part of why I want this thing removed, even if it means I might bleed out. Rather be dead than under someone else's control.
[ It hits too close, too hard. She doesn't want her freedom taken away again, even if it's only that she can't remove some device from herself. She'd rather be dead than that. ]
Was thinking that, especially when it comes to people who know each other. Why some and not others? Maybe entertainment or experiments factor into it, but even if it's random, there's a reason it's random.
Sometimes. Sometimes people are just cruel for the sake of it. Sometimes people aren't people even if they look like them on the outside.

But if that's it how does it broadcast out? Must be something missed there too.
We've come in really late but don't think others know a whole lot either. Even if they've been here awhile.
I've talked to people 'bout the augment and nothing they've tried has worked on removing it.
Has to be a reason for different memory levels. How things are changed there.
Sounds like you got some experience there.
[ they were all running from something haunting them it seemed. ]
no subject
On one hand, that does seem solid, but on the other we are on multiple space ships, aren't we? It could be some kind of technology we aren't familiar with and the cameras were just dummies and used for our familiarity.
Figure there's something hidden on the Marsiva, regardless.
Kind of shit to imagine how long some people are here and that they still don't have any answers.
Heard the same. Keep hearing it prevents you from removing it and even if others try, it'll stop them cold in their tracks or make them physically ill. I don't like that.
I might. It's not something that stops, though. You knock one of them off, another one pops up. It isn't just bioterrorism.
[ Her ghosts are just that. She'd watch him get swallowed up by the volcano after one last try. He didn't even realize she'd made it out alive -- perhaps for the better. She didn't want to hear her name one more time from him. ]

Could be. Would make sense with those augment things they've got implanted in us.
Compliance happens quicker than you might think, especially if they're slowly given you thinks you want to have.
Might can try a multiple effort. Someone else steps in when the first person starts feeling off. Keep going through until it's out.
Got to be something to be done. Just got to try is all.
[ There were plenty of things Rick preferred to not think about but sometimes they returned to him in the worst of ways. ]

Ugh. I don't want to talk about that.
Don't disagree on that. Sometimes you have to go with the flow; it doesn't always make sense to revolt. Being quiet about it can sometimes throw your captor off guard and the company around these parts isn't too bad.
I'd be more than happy to volunteer to play guinea pig in that case. I don't want this damn thing in me. Just depends on how willing someone is to risk playing whatever game it is. Been told I might bleed out.
I like to think that with enough effort, most anything can be achieved.
Just easier to get to that point if you've got a few fire-and-forgets.
