[ As the feed clicks on, the first thing the view can see is the face of one Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, seated upon her bed which has been neatly made. As a matter of fact, everything in the small space she calls a bedroom looks clean and tidy, as if no one has been sleeping or living in it. There is a very distinguishable lump under the sheets, though -- if one looks hard enough, they may see a tuft or two of midnight black fur. A certain pup has taken residence in her bed, it would seem. But that isn't the point of this broadcast. She flashes a tired smile. ]
Good evening, everyone. I wanted to issue out a formal apology for those of you whom may have seen some things a few days ago. [ Oh, you remember. During calibrations. ] I pray that you will forgive me for any trouble being stuck with me may have caused, or the visions you may have seen.
[ With that said, she offers a tiny, apologetic bow. She knows not all of the visions -- memories, whatever they were -- were not the most pleasant, and she truly does regret that people had to see any of them at all. But she straightens soon enough, hands folding in her lap once more. ]
Even with the chaos, I managed to meet some wonderful new people, and I must say I feel extremely blessed to have made such wonderful friends within the fleet. [ Ya'll know who she's talking about. ] There are even more people here now, and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you. I especially look forward to meeting and getting to know all of my new crew mates. Bless you all.

[Surprisingly he is awake. He doesn't sleep as well on these mattresses and being shuffled around yet again is disorienting. He needs a few more days to settle and some time with his friends. Seeing Umbra will help too.
He hears the knock and sits up, he'd been sitting on his bed fiddling with the communicator and wondering what to say to Luna. Of course she took the initiative first. He rushed up his ladder to open the hatch.]
Luna.... Umbra? [He grinned and pet the dog.] You too? Come here. Where's Pryna?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY
She smiles at him when he opens the hatch, and Umbra's tail wags as he barks in greeting. ]
Hello, Noctis. I just wanted to stop by and welcome you to the First Breath... and because Umbra has missed you. [ She hums in thought at his question. ] Pryna is still at home. I just got lucky, I suppose, to get Umbra a few months back.
What's a girl like you doing in a place like this~
That's great... come in, here. Let me... [He took Umbra into a one-armed carry and headed down the ladder to his room. He set the dog on the floor and he set to sniffing the whole cabin.]
It's not much to look at but... well here it is. Luna... are you okay here? Is... is everything... I... [he has so many questions but doesn't know how to ask them. How he she here, did she really die? He knew she did, she said goodbye to him. But she'd been declared dead before and he never saw her body... he didn't know what to think.]

Thank you, Noctis. [ She smiles as he takes Umbra, and she follows Noctis in. His room looks just like everyone else's, although it's emptier because he hasn't had a chance just yet to gather things from the places they've gone. ]
It's nice, I like it. [ He's nervous, he's unsure. She can understand that, too. It must not be easy seeing someone you watched die suddenly not being dead and alive and well. ] I am alright here, yes. Everything is fine.

None of us know why we are here. The Atroma say we are here to entertain the intergalactic masses. But we aren't, I don't think we are at least. I am sure there is some other underlying reason... they are powerful. They have also implanted us with chips.
[ She pauses, though, and shakes her head. ]

[ Home does kind of suck right now, but she wishes that he and his friends were back there. They've got a job to do... not that it matters. Time is frozen there, after all. ]
Considering how shocked you must have been, yes, I think you handled it beautifully. So please, don't feel embarrassed... there is no need, I can assure you. And I promise you, Noctis, that I am fine.
[ She does wear a scar under her rib cage from Ardyn's knife, but that is besides the point. Her cheeks suddenly turn a bright red... oh Gods, she's been through this once before... ]

[ She looks down at her feet suddenly, and she shifts a little bit. That must be unusual for him to see, considering how easily she talks to the masses about doom and gloom and hope and light and whatever else. But she's done this once before... she can do it again. ]

[ That's all she can offer, really. Admitting her feelings this time around wasn't quite as nerve inducing as before, and she's glad for that. But she still finds herself holding her breath just a little, simply because Noctis is no longer the same as she knew him just weeks ago. He has no memory of his brief time here, their dance at the ball, their kiss... and their confession to one another.
She has no idea how he's going to handle this, but she hopes it's for the best. Either way, at the very least she has laid it out on the table. ]

Luna when... when I was in Altissia I went to where they had your dress on display and when I saw it... I just wanted to see it on you at the wedding. [He has no expectations for what they used to be or what the hell it even meant that he was here before. He doesn't put much thought into that right now. He can think about it later. He looks at her expectantly. What the hell is she going to say to that?]

[ She knows this has got to sound insane, and he looks so confused. Poor man. This is a lot of information to take in, she gets that. ]
You were here before... for a few months in fact. I promise, I have not lost my mind, it's all very true. And when you were here, the four of us decided it would be best if we gathered on one ship permanently. Ignis was already here, so the rest of us transferred from our respective ships and became crew aboard this one.
[ As easy as it had been to say this time around, waiting for his answer is more agonizing now than before because she has no idea how he's going to react or feel about what she's just told him. But she's taken a page out of Ravus' book, has shown him the feelings in her heart just like her brother had told her to. And this time, there was no dilly dallying for months and tip toeing around feelings... she's glad for that.
It takes Lunafreya a good few moments to process his words, but when they click her cheeks turn a deep, crimson red all the way to her ears and her eyes widen somewhat.
He's asking her to marry him. He is proposing. This had been a chance for him to break away from all that, but instead he's opted to ask her himself, and she finds herself nodding before she can even really comprehend anything else he's said. ]
I... yes, yes of course I still want to get married... I had very much been looking forward to the wedding before everything happened. [ She still felt a twinge of guilt for being so excited and enthusiastic about it despite not knowing how Noctis had felt at the time. She'd saddled him with a burden when it came to that wedding, even if it hadn't been her idea to begin with. But then her mind goes back to the memory of the evening of the ball, and the other Noctis telling her that it was okay to be selfish sometimes.
She's still not so sure about that. ]
I wanted to be your wife at home, and that has not changed here... I want to do everything in my power to make you happy, Noctis. So if you will have me, then yes, I would love to get married.

I don't remember that at all. You'd think I would... [He won't insult her by asking for proof. But he will ask Ignis and Prompto about it and see if Prompto had any photos of them here. That would be enough for him but... Luna wouldn't lie either. She may just be confused or... lied to. He doesn't know about these Atroma characters.]
It makes sense but why did you give up being a captain to come here, seems like we should have joined you... but... you shouldn't have to work that hard either. It'd suit you though.
[And then... then... his life changed. He had the moment. The moment she said yes. He knew she'd say yes, he knew she wanted to marry him and that she feared he was being burdened with the wedding. He hated that in Tenebrae when that little girl stopped him and told him that. He wished he could ease that ache for Luna. He wished he could have her near him... but he had her now. This borrowed time in this place... he couldn't waste it. He had to make his feelings known and try to be with her in the way they couldn't at home. Scary as it was he had to express to her everything he felt. He wanted to.]
I was only hesitant to get married because I didn't know what you thought about it. The empire was calling the shots, for all I knew you were forced into this... but... you're the only one I want, Luna.
Let's do it then. Now, while we can. It won't be in Altissia or with everyone from home but... I'll regret it if we don't. [he sighed.]
I don't have your ring on me, it was sent to Altissia with my tux. I'll find a new one.
[This hadn't been so hard. It was easy when he thought about helping her with his feelings. It would help her to know she wasn't burdening him at all. Right? He reached for her then, touching her hand... holding it, then pulling her toward him. He looked in her eyes. Icy blue and bright, her perfect blonde hair, her full lips, her button nose... he was kissing her before he thought about it. Slow and warm and full of all his affection. Like it was the first time. For him, it was the first time.]

We came to this decision because there was more room upon the First Breath, and because Ignis was already here. I am not captain material... although I must admit, the job itself was fairly easy.
[ Also the job came with a bigger bed and she and umbra had a wonderful time stretching out on it, but that's hardly the point. She listens to Noctis, her gaze soft and understanding and a light blush highlighting her cheekbones. It's nice to hear him say that, to get a little bit of confirmation. While they'd admitted to one another they had feelings towards each other, they hadn't exactly talked about where they stood relationship wise the last time around. But what he says now.... she can feel her heart hammering in her chest. ]
I had the same concerns about you, too, Noctis. But to hear you say that, words can never express both the gratitude and joy I feel right now.
[ She smiles softly, reaching up with a hand to lightly cup his cheek. 'While we can'. She knows what he means, and agrees. After all, things will go back to normal once they return home. Death us do part, indeed. ]
I know that it is not customary for kings to wear rings. [ Save for the Ring of the Lucii, at least, but she means wedding band wise. ] But were you planning on wearing one? I just... need to know, so that I may be able to get you one, too.
[ The very thought of both of them wearing rings... marriage. Married to Noctis, just like it should have been at home. Lunafreya Nox Fleuret Caelum is quite the mouthful, but it has a nice ring to it. Her fingers lace with his, her free hand remaining on his cheek even as he leans in and kisses her. Her nerves are set aflame immediately, and she leans into his affection and returns his kiss -- because unlike him, she already knows what his lips feel like on her own: wonderfully, terribly addicting. She can never get enough of this, and right now she is more than happy to relish and bask in all of this. ]

Well, that's... comforting. [It's not like he'd trust anything she could show him. It wasn't her it was just... no trinket he got while here would do anything for his memory, it was all brand new stuff, all strange ships and weird space and... yeah he's in a new place again and she will have to deal with that. I bet you'd be a pretty good captain but being with Ignis would help. He cooks. Not that he and I have much to work with. Those kitchens are inexcusable... [His eyes soften when marriage comes up.]
I met a little girl in Tenebrae... she demanded to know if I was happy to marry you. She said you were worried you were burdening me. She talked about when your dress arrived, I guess she worked in the castle somehow, or her parents did. She was cute. [She wasn't Luna though, she was close... at that point, he could only have the people who knew and loved her, not the woman herself. He ached at that moment... but he was also glad to have someone who wanted to talk about her. Gladio didn't want to hear it then but Noctis NEEDED to talk about it. About her.]
Huh? Sure, why not. I'll be a rebel. Who cares about that here, I'm not a king here, I'm no one here. It's great... we can pick them out together if you want.
[Rings meant something to him too. He'd rather have a concrete thing to wear to be close to her, something that would signal to others that they were together. He wanted as much connection as he could get now that they... really couldn't have forever. Sure, no couple had forever to be together but he knew when they were parting ways. It was as soon as either of them left this fleet.
His heart ached to think about that and he pulled his hand from her cheek and wrapped it around her to hold her close. He kissed her harder, a bit more desperate. He wanted to love her, to just be with her... to raise children and grow old and laugh and be king and queen and preside over a world of peace and light... he couldn't have those things... but one. He could be with her. So he held her tight and nuzzled her when he had to breathe.]
What kind of ring would be perfect for Luna... hmm...

Oh, no... I was never meant to lead anyone. From what I understand, one of my friends shares the role of captain now with another former crewmate. [ Had the Empire never shown up, Ravus would have been King and she had been more than alright with that. Being Oracle was responsibility enough; she may not lead people in that position but she'd inspired them, and that had brought a certain satisfaction and joy into her life. Had she and Noctis actually been able to wed, she would have reigned side by side with him as his queen... and that had been a somewhat intimidating thought. Not being married, of course, but being queen. Titles have never meant much to Luna, though... she had mostly been looking forward to simply standing at her beloved's side. ]
Ignis is a wonderful cook, and I am certain that the two of you will come up with amazing things together, even if they all pertain to gel. [ ...If they can get Noctis up before noon. That thought is far too amusing not to smile at. She listens to him continue, and she can once again feel her cheeks heating up. ]
Oh! She is one of Maria's grandchildren. Please forgive her, she is a curious child and she had been extremely excited for both of us. She was there when my gown game in and she had seen me try it on. [ And had been so full of questions about Noctis, and the dress, and just EVERYTHING. When Luna had smiled and reminded her she'd be moving to Lucis, the poor girl had pouted a little bit and asked her why Noctis couldn't just move to Tenebrae. To be fair, had everything gone to plan, both Maria and the girl would have come with her as her attendants. There was no way she'd have left those two behind, especially since Maria had taken care of her her entire life, and had really stepped up after Niflheim took over. ]
That may be true, but you are still my king. [ Sorry, Noctis, but she's completely and utterly devoted to you, both here and at home. ] I would love to go ring shopping together.
[ It's an exciting thought, to say the least. Noctis wearing a ring that isn't the Ring of the Lucii. An actual wedding band, something that tradition would probably have not allowed him to do at home. They're just rings, of course, but they have such a deep meaning to them. To think that he'd be wearing one, and she would too, that people would look at them and automatically realize that they were together in such a sacred bond makes her heart hammer just a little bit harder in her chest.
She's finding she really, really likes being in his arms. It's everything she thought it would be and more, just like the feel of his lips against her own. One hand rests against the back of his neck while the other trails up and into his hair, her fingers gently twisting into it as she allows herself to get lost in their kiss and lean further into it.
She's not sure how much time has passed by when they finally separate for air. She does not care -- if it was physically possible, if they didn't need oxygen, she'd still be kissing him right now as far as she's concerned. But she enjoys the way his arms feel around her, the way his hair feels silky as she plays with it between her fingers, and she gently nuzzles him in return, eating up the affection he offers to her. ]
I will fall in love with whatever you pick out, I promise. But what about for you? What sort of rings do you prefer, hm?

Coulda fooled me. You're better than I am in leading the people. I never led anyone, not even my friends. [He's being honest and self-aware for once, go him. He was intimidated by the throne too. He had no interest in it, no desire to rule or protect or... well he liked helping his people but he didn't feel like he should have to make a career out of avoiding his problems to do that. Rather, he was avoiding the life he was born into. He liked the lifestyle okay enough... he would rather be anonymous and just held the people on his own terms. He doesn't need a platform or a pedestal. But he was excited to marry her so... if being a prince was the price he had to pay for her then he's glad to be born a prince.
I figured something like that. Don't apologize... she really helped me after we arrived. It was so... heavy after Leviathan.... her asking about you was something I needed... we were focusing on what we needed to do but I needed to talk about it with someone who knew you. I would never have picked a kid but she was perfect... and oh hush you. I don't want to be king, I have to be king when I go home. I want to just be me here. Me and you.
[He would kiss her into oblivion and he looked forward to just cuddling and making out later because they were going to do that. But he felt an urgency to go to the planet and buy this woman a ring. He had to make it official, he'd disrespect her if he made her wait No one else could summon this kind of focus from him.
But he sighed as she played with his hair, he swayed with her gently and just enjoyed holding her.]
Uh, I have no idea. I never wore a ring before this one. Plain I guess?

[ She thinks he is, at least. How else would he have faced the Astrals and garnered their blessings? While she wouldn't be there to physically see him take his rightful place and rule over Lucis, she knows he will grow into his role and become a powerful, wonderful king. He has little faith, but she knows he can do it. She's known since they were children, and she will never stop believing in that or in him. ]
I could imagine... even still, I am so sorry you had to deal with all of that. As if you did not have enough on your plate. Of course... we are just normal people here. It is a little strange, don't you think? Strange, but nice.
[ No one telling them what to do or where to go, no armed guards shoving her into a room, no war or Starscourge or sickness and death... she knows a lot of people don't like the Atroma. She knows most people don't like being here within the Fleet. Originally, she'd felt the same, and yet this place has given her a second chance at life. How can she hate something like that?
As they sway, she smiles and leans up on her toes to gently press her forehead against his, closing her eyes and enjoying their close proximity, the way his arms feel around her, and their shared warmth. ]
