[ 3rd Blessing - action/video ]
Who: Lunafreya and YOU~
Broadcast: Fleetwide.
Action: If you are aboard the First Breath! And a little somethin' somethin' for Noctis....
When: RIGHT NOW GO GO GO
[ As the feed clicks on, the first thing the view can see is the face of one Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, seated upon her bed which has been neatly made. As a matter of fact, everything in the small space she calls a bedroom looks clean and tidy, as if no one has been sleeping or living in it. There is a very distinguishable lump under the sheets, though -- if one looks hard enough, they may see a tuft or two of midnight black fur. A certain pup has taken residence in her bed, it would seem. But that isn't the point of this broadcast. She flashes a tired smile. ]
Good evening, everyone. I wanted to issue out a formal apology for those of you whom may have seen some things a few days ago. [ Oh, you remember. During calibrations. ] I pray that you will forgive me for any trouble being stuck with me may have caused, or the visions you may have seen.
[ With that said, she offers a tiny, apologetic bow. She knows not all of the visions -- memories, whatever they were -- were not the most pleasant, and she truly does regret that people had to see any of them at all. But she straightens soon enough, hands folding in her lap once more. ]
Even with the chaos, I managed to meet some wonderful new people, and I must say I feel extremely blessed to have made such wonderful friends within the fleet. [ Ya'll know who she's talking about. ] There are even more people here now, and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you. I especially look forward to meeting and getting to know all of my new crew mates. Bless you all.
[ Just before the feed cuts, Luna can be seen offering one more polite bow. For those aboard the the First Breath, feel free to come hang out with her. Meet Umbra! Just say hello! ]

There is no other way to really look at it, in my opinion. Besides, there are far worse places we could be right now. I suppose, despite how odd it may be, this is just a chance to broaden our horizons.no subject
Can't hurt to try and be positive, though.
no subject
That is very true. It's a strange thing, is it not? To not only be stuck in space, but to be at the mercy of captors we haven't a lot of information on. Perhaps one day, though. I refuse to believe we will be stuck here forever. Granted, I fear to think what may happen when our captors bore of us.
Only good can come from being positive. And perhaps a solution to our problem sooner than later.
no subject
Sooner would be nice.
no subject
I do agree. We have all been called upon for a reason, and while I highly doubt it is to truly entertain the masses, we can at the very least help one another out to the best of our abilities.
I do believe sooner is what most people would agree to as well.
no subject
Ha, fair enough!
no subject
At the very least, it should be interesting, don't you think? I suppose for now all we have to look forward to is a bit more space exploration. But I am alright with that for the time being.
How long have you been here, if you do not mind me asking?
no subject
I arrived about a week before everyone was returned to their ships from the Marsiva. Obviously not the best timing, right?
no subject
You and I are one in the same. I have been here nearly five months now, but we have nothing like this at home; we have not even scratched the surface of even getting to space exploration.
You arrived during the chaos, then. That must have been awful, I cannot even imagine. Waking up in a strange new place is bad enough, let alone when all of THAT was going on. Aside from that, what do you think of the fleet so far?
no subject
It must have been just as uncomfortable for people to meet a stranger in their memories, either. But aside from that, it's interesting enough and the people are pretty alright! Just gotta keep on going, you know?
no subject
They are indeed visited! Not long after I arrived we landed on a planet that was entirely water. It was an experience to say the least, being able to breathe within the water.
Yes, perhaps for some. The whole ordeal was a little awkward, I suppose. I am most pleased that it is over. I am also very happy that you have such a wonderful attitude towards the fleet thus far. Many people do not, so it is quite enlightening to hear of someone else having positive thoughts.

I'm a pretty big stickler for permission. There's more value, I think, in being told about someone's past by choice even if it's limited and not visual. I get that sharing and seeing it is something wonderful, too, but it would've been nice if consent was involved...
Figure that being sour isn't going to get me anywhere, right? Otherwise everyone else would be back where they came from by now! ;)
no subject
It was. You are able to do so with gear, you say? I am unsure if we have such technology in my own home world. If we are, I have yet to see it. That is quite fascinating!
I agree in full. I honestly have no idea why that happened or what purpose it served. It was the most bizarre thing I have experienced thus far, and I have seen many, many odd things in my lifetime. Did you also get a gift basket when you awakened?
Very true. Perhaps if we bore the Atroma, they will let us go home? Or perhaps not. :')
no subject
I guess entertainment, though I wouldn't call it that even if I wasn't involved. As for a gift basket, I did. It seems most everyone received one. Is that a common occurrence?
Might be an interesting thing to try out! ;)
no subject
I see! That sounds interesting indeed, I had no idea such equipment even existed. Even oxygen in a tank? Goodness, what will science come up with next? Thank you very much, I appreciate it![ Maybe the Empire should be focusing on THAT technology instead of their stupid Magitek soldiers. Granted, they'd be using that for evil and not good, so perhaps not. ]Nor would I. I have personally never gotten one, but I was told that the last time the strange memory thing happened, everyone had been gifted with baskets then as well. I have also noticed that not a lot of people are happy with what they got, which leads me to believe the Atroma are toying with some of us at least.
I feel as though we are just their worker bees to maintain their ships, anyways. It does make me ponder what will happen when they do finally get bored of us, though!
no subject
[ It always seems to come around to battles and war, no matter where you're from. While water can be tactically important, it's not the same as holding onto land, she supposes. ]
Last time? So this is a thing that has happened more than once? Not looking forward to my turn, in that case. The gifts do seem to be personalized but impersonal at the same time? In some cases it appears to almost be mocking. I think part of it is reactionary intention, perhaps even just a guess at why someone might be upset or excited and not knowing if it will actually work in that favor.
Well, let's try not to think of such a time. Although let's hold on to the hope that we'll just be sent home in that case.

I am sure we will find our fair share of them. Scuba diving... I will have to ask my fiancé if he has heard of it or not.
From what I have been told, it also happened last year. Which, admittedly, is slightly disheartening to hear. I must agree, I have seen a few angry people who are quite displeased with what they have been given. I do wish that the Atroma would stop harassing people in such a way.
Indeed. That is all we can do at this point, I think.
no subject
That's still frequently enough, if you ask me. I wonder if it has its origins somewhere else? As for the gift baskets, I wasn't expecting one at all, but I get the feeling some items in them were meant to incite anger or hurt. Guess mine was more sentimentality and nostalgia.
Then I'm glad to have you on my team.
no subject
Perhaps! I have found that most things here are not common things where I am from. Space travel itself is not anything we have managed to do just yet, but I have heard for many other people here that getting into space was a discovery made long ago, and that some of our fellow fleet-mates even reside in space in their homeworlds.
It very well could, I would not be surprised in the slightest. I believe that we have much to uncover, and that there are many secrets our captors are enjoying keeping us in the dark about. My gift basket was more or less along the same lines as yours. I am still not sure if I am going to use the pink sunglasses or not, though. Perhaps I will pass them along to my fiancé.
[ Pink isn't his color, which is why she will more than likely be slipping them onto his face while he sleeps for her own amusement. Perhaps she will have Prompto snap a photo or two... ]
I am very glad to have you on mine as well. But I realize that I have not properly introduced myself! My name is Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, and it is a pleasure to meet you.no subject
I guess having a basket like mine isn't a bad thing in comparison, right? Although I'm a little jealous that you've snagged some sunglasses! Unfortunately, blue is my color of choice. But I'm sure he'd look fetching in pink. :)
[ A woman after her own heart, really. She'd do the same to Chris, given the opportunity. ]
Well, good evening to you, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. I'm Jill Valentine and it's also a pleasure to meet you.
no subject
Very true! Every world seems unique in some way or another. No two words seems exactly the same.
No, not at all. Mine came with several things, although one of them I am a little confused about. The sunglasses will come in handy though I am sure. Blue is a wonderful color! I would have preferred them in white, but I am sure they will come in handy. I'm sure he will! :D
[ ...Poor Noctis. Poor Chris. ]
What ship did you end up on, Jill? My friends and I are are all on the First Breath.no subject
Confused? Hope it's not the bad sort, at least. As for sunglasses, I definitely agree. White's not bad either, or black. Something a little more neutral. I'll be looking forward to photos. ;)
[ There is nothing wrong with being a stylish man, if you ask her. ]
I'm on the Heron. I'm glad you're all in one place, though!
no subject
Yes, I agree. There have been many a conversation where I have had no idea at all what people are talking about. And vice versa, of course.
I feel that this item should have been intended more for Noctis than myself, but Umbra is getting a kick out of it. I will definitely take photos and send you some. :)
[ Tell that to Noctis. Now she half wants to paint eyeballs on them or big swirlies to really add to the hilarity of it... ah, she shouldn't be thinking of doing that, though... ]
We decided it would be best if we were all aboard the same ship. Safety in numbers and all that.[ Also, Ardyn. Ardyn is a problem, and even having Ignis, Noctis, and Prompto all together... she's worried. Ardyn is causing trouble already, and it's just a matter of time before it call comes to a head. ]
no subject
Oh, so it does sort of hold meaning, then? I guess in a way that's sort of nice.
[ Hey, it'll probably be useful... to someone. Maybe. ]
Definitely understandable. I'd do the same on day one if any of my friends were to show up. I'm sure separation drama can be great for ratings, but it's not worth it in my book.
[ Jill doesn't know how spot on that assessment was for her first time here, the time she can't recall. She and Chris had agreed to remain apart for a little while to make their stay more comfortable. They hadn't kept it up for long.
...and if she knew about Ardyn, he'd get himself a Big Boot by now. ]

Thank you very much. I'm afraid I haven't much knowledge of anything, really. It was strange coming here and waking up knowing how to use all of the communications devices and things needed to do my tasks, and even the device we have to talk to one another. At home, I was not allowed to have even a cell phone, let along anything quite as advanced as this.
It is a mascot from a restaurant chain at home. When I showed it to Noctis, he appeared rather disturbed. I am finding great amusement in that.
[ Pulling the string and hearing 'Caw kids! It's Kenny Crow!' and watching Noctis have some sort of weird PSTD reaction was EXTREMELY amusing. ]
It isn't. Besides, one never knows what could happen here... we do not seem to be in charge of our own lives at the moment.[ Well, Luna feels the most in charge of her own life that she's ever felt if she's honest. Twelve years a captive of the Empire, and then death... and now here. It's all very strange.
...Please never meet Ardyn. ]
