Who: Zack Fair / OTA
Broadcast: Yes!
Action: the Caprine
When: Now!
( action; caprine )
[...Alright, so that was. Weird. He was totally just on the Marsiva, but now he's on another ship, apparently! With confetti, and... pudding, which gets set aside for now, because he's sure as hell not trusting random food thrown at him willynilly.
He's more interested in the new ship itself, so he'll be exploring the place, poking his head into whatever room he comes across unless it's locked. Apologies in advance?]
( video; fleetwide )
[Have a Zack! Pulling bits of confetti out of his hair. He looks about as confused as any newcomer, though perhaps not as disturbed. He has officially Seen Some Shit, as one might guess by the semi-glowing blue eyes.]
Testing, testing... okay, we'll pretend this works. It's kinda different from standard issue ShinRa PHS, but it doesn't look that complicated...
Anyway- hey there, fellow space people. Name's Zack. Am I crazy, or are the voices in my head legit when they say I'm on TV? 'Cause, uh. I'd kind of prefer that, at this point. Not really a fan of the random voices concept.
...Aerith? Where'd you end up?

I guess half confirmation's better than none.
I did find her, though! so no worries there

You might be able to catch the cameras if you look hard enough in some places.
That's wonderful to hear. I'm glad. :)
[ And a little jealous. ]

[He's assuming if there was people would already be gone...]

Don't know if anyone's told you yet, but you can't get back on the Marsiva. Each ship does have a shuttle that'll take you to another one, though!

[all clean and clinical and- eugh. no thanks.]
thanks for the tip on the shuttles, though! looks like I'd better learn how to fly...

But we've got that much in common, it seems. Not a fan of labs, myself.
I think they're automatic, on the bright side! :)
no subject
that IS a bright side! would hate to end my grand space adventure in a shuttle explosion on day 1.

I'm not sure if you're optimistic or a realist.
Either way, I was pretty nervous on them and still am and I haven't heard of any incidents. Figure we're valuable enough to bring here against our will, they probably wouldn't want us disappearing in a shuttle explosion!

[listen he likes to keep an open mind about these things.]
anyway I won't get anything if I don't try. it's worth a shot, right? otherwise I'm just stuck in this little ship.

Fair enough. You can bet I'd be on one without second thought if I found anyone I knew here, with or without safety standards.

I mean, I just saw her on the Marsiva, but that's not the point.

It's a thought worth considering and not wasting the intent or consideration behind.

Anyway, I think anything's possible if you just give it a solid try and don't die in the process. So I just have to do that!

[ Sometimes, it's still possible even if you do die. The calculated risks are sometimes worth the rewards, even if you aren't there to reap them yourself. But that's kind of a downer, so she doesn't say that. ]

otherwise you live life with too many regrets.
[he likes the thought of dying with only a few of those. (and he's been there, done that)]

[ She had only a few when she'd woken up. She hadn't expected to wake up at all, even if the decision she'd made was in the moment; the misery that followed was overwhelming, but she didn't regret the decision that she made for even a second.
There are things greater and more of value than her own self. He'd made it out alive and that was all that mattered. ]

anyway enough waxing philosophical or whatever, that's kinda too deep for a guy like me. what's interesting to do around here? gimme a crash course!

Well, there's basically just a large ship called the Iskaulit. It has some bars, a gym, places to eat. Nothing hugely special, I guess, but compared to our personal ships it's a good way to kill time. There's a library and I think some kind of religious center, but I haven't been yet. More a gym kinda gal.

Though I'm digging the alcohol idea. Could use one or two of those lately.

The bars are pretty nice. There's one that's a little more homey and one that's a bit more fancy (I prefer the former).
