Well, yes. That is kinda of what makes magic magic. But it can be useful sometimes, especially if you need to set something on fire quickly.

No argument here. My ass has been saved many a time thanks to a well-placed magic zap or two. I kinda like lightning, myself.

Oooh, lightning is one of my favorites. I'm very much a fight and lightning person myself, you can do so much with them!

Yeah, exactly! It lights the battlefield right up, and sometimes you can get a chain reaction if the one you're fighting has metal armor, too. It's great.

I don't need metal to chain lighting. [ WHO SOUNDS SMUG? SHE DOES. ] If they're close enough my spells can jump between two or three people. It's very effective when you're fighting large numbers.

Oh man, lucky. I can't do that unless I get another materia for it.
