belated birthday?
Who: Khadgar and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: on the Twin Roses
When: Now
[When he woke up this morning, he hadn't been expecting to find anything for himself. He'd been planning to go back down to the planet again and doing some more exploring, nothing special. Instead, he found something special just sitting on top of his books.
It takes a bit for it to sink in, he has to think about it, but then he flicks on the communicator after dressing and directs it at the "surprise."
It's a cake. With "18!" written on it as obnoxiously as possible with little arcane designs around it.]
You're a month late. My birthday was during the Midsummer Fire Festival.
I'm going to leave this in the kitchen. If anyone wants some.

[It seem to allude him every time, ever since he was given a cake back aboard the Enterprise those years ago. A surprise party too. He never was one for surprise parties and pointless gatherings as he often called them. A Klingon birthday was much more....bloody and violent, often mixed with more drink.]

I think it's because some people don't eat sweet things normally. Or maybe because some families couldn't afford sweets normally.
Honestly, I would rather have celebrated with a trip to the Darkmoon Faire. That's not quite an option here though, unfortunately.

[Because you look like one? This guy can be painfully ignorant of other races when he wants to be.]

I am human, yes.
no subject
[Yes, but there are no other Klingons aboard, Worf. Sorry.]
I am Worf, son of Mogh. It is your birthday so I will wish you happy birthday and may you die in glorious battle.
[So honourable.]

I'm Khadgar, son of- well, no one, I guess. [Ha!] I think I'd rather not die in battle, I've had enough fighting for my life.
[The scar on his face is enough of a reminder. Thanks, Atroma.]

[Were they enemies of this man? He didn't even know who his father was! An utter disgrace if he were a Klingon warrior. Every son must know he was born from, so he can carry on the family name into battle.]
You do not even know who your father is?
[A big shock for Worf here. Everyone knows who there father is, right?]

[Merlan's voice is full of amusement as she grins into the communicator.]
I guess it's good I have something for you, then. [She couldn't help but pick him up something. Merlan had had a hell of a time bargaining it down, too.] Feel like a walk planetside?
no subject
I can't look that young! [Could he?]
I'd never be against getting some fresh air. Should I meet you somewhere?
no subject
Mm, let's see, I've been working in the gardens and it's pretty quiet there. It's a good place to walk.
no subject
On the planet or one of the ships? I can teleport where ever you direct me.
no subject
Planetside. They've got these ridiculous flower gardens, well fields? I dunno, it looks pretty and it's way the hell up above the city.
[She glances to the side and arches an eyebrow. He does get the coordinates by text though because, yeah, she's got those memorised.]
Can you transport two? Because that sounds amazing. I'm on the Bloodsport at the moment...
no subject
I think I saw them in passing, if we're thinking of the same one. [By passing, he means the shuttle, of course. But he does make sure the coordinates match, just in case.]
I can, just let me grab some chalk. I'm still practicing teleporting without runes so better safe than sorry. [A few minutes later though, he'll be appearing nearby her on the Bloodsport, several items getting pushed back and away from him as he appears.]
no subject
Okay, that's pretty awesome. The only times I've teleported were when I let an angel use me as his vessel. So, this will be different.
[She squinted a little.]
Does the chalk disappear once you've teleported?

Bon anniversaire! Late though it is, it is nice they thought of you, no?
Video;
I suppose it is, they even kept my magic in mind with the design.
[More importantly.]
I've been doing some shopping on the planet and found some herbs I can use for a potion. I just have to channel some mana into them and experiment but by the end if the month, we may be able to try breaking your curse.
Video;
So soon? [BEST FUCKING DAY. ] This is wonderful! Thank you so much for your hard work, it is very much appreciated.
Video;
[Sleep? Who needs sleep!] Could you tell Cogsworth?
Video;
[Go the fuck to sleep, Khadgar. ]
I will let him know! I am sure he will be glad to hear that a curse is coming closer.
[Guess who doesn't know about your little deal, buddy. Can you guess. ]
Video;
[Make him!]
Thank you. Once I'm ready, he'll just have to let me know when he wants to test it.

I'm not so sure about it being proud though. I don't feel any different.

You are a man; you have the mind of a man and the body. Your life is your own to lead.

I was going to be mage consul to the regent of Stormwind but here I'm just doing my best to help.
