do these things come with barf bags?
Who: Ochako + OTA
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Planetside
When: Nowish?
( video / broadcast; )
Ssssoooo... anybody I know have a license to fly those space cars? I want to learn how to drive one! But they said I have to be 18 to drive it alone, so I need an adult with me. I can get the autopilot versions, but, um. They kind of freak me out? ...Also they suck. They really, really suck.
[did I mention the video image shows the background around her looks like it's upside down? because it totally looks like it is.]
Anyway, let me know if you can help! It can't be that different from a shuttle, and I'm not bad with those! Thanks in advance.
( on the planet; )
[how much do the autopilot hovers suck? Ochako's gone and found out the hard way. she's rented one that is exceptionally glitchy- it really likes to fly upside down, which is why her broadcast looks so weird. This isn't such a terrible thing when your superpower is gravity-erasing, but she can only do that for so long before she loses her lunch, so over the course of the rental she might pass people by doing the following:
1) sitting in her seat, upside down, looking awfully green
2) dangling from her clipped seatbelt like it's a swing, legs kicking
3) carefully climbing down the seatbelt trying to reach the ground
She might need a little bit of help. That's if she doesn't straight-up collide with somebody first. Uh, duck?]
Ah- ahhhh, look out!!

[ he doesn't like this. volunteers. who knows who they are and steve feels an odd sort responsibility for her. that in mind - ]
I could teach you.

Are you sure that wouldn't be a bother? I know you woke up pretty recently, so I don't want to distract you if you'd rather do other stuff!
[like spending time with your captain, captain]

[ he's living with his captain these days. makes it so much easier. ]
I have time.
[ better him than someone he doesn't know ]
When do you wanna start?

[dude she's upside down and this car is horrible, the sooner the better ;~;]

[ steve don't be a little shit to the kid. ]

Ahh, this is so much better! A car that's ride-side-up!

[ he stands up an grabs the little hover car. steve once pulled an helicopter out of the sky; luckily, this vehicle is much lighter. a moment or two and he manages to flip it over. ]
let's see if we can tie to this one. I have a feeling you might want to return it.

Wow, that's... I-I mean! I think if we just program the GPS inside to go home, it'll take itself back safely!

[ well, it's worth a try. steve's hover isn't very faulty but there's no knowing what it's going to be after dragging another all the way back. ]
Okay, hold on.
[ holding her hover, he pushes himself away up and in ]
The GPS system, yeah?
no subject
Yeah, exactly! I think there's an option to send it home when you're done with it.
