There is a wedding on the planet. You may know this because you were invited to this wedding by this little guy and it's a lovely ceremony! You can watch the couple get married, wether you know them or not, the whole fleet was invited.Even if they don't know you either. 

Noctis was in all black and he was beside himself, the time had finally come and after seeing his beautiful bride he couldn't look away. The music was soft yet appropriate. Luna was beaming, holding onto Shiro's arm down the aisle until they were together and holding hands. The vows went on as if in another room. Noctis couldn't quite focus on them, he was fighting getting sucked into Luna's orbit and just kissing her prematurely. Distantly he heard his cue to repeat after the offician and he recited his vows word for word. Umbra had their rings ready for them. When he put Luna's on her finger he felt a tear spill down his cheek. He couldn't stop smiling. The officiant led Luna then and Noctis hung on every word. Her voice was melodic and soft. Then he had a ring on his finger and he felt himself crying again. He just looked at her, he officiant left them through the end, announcing it was over, they were married.

Noctis didn't wait for any cue, he pulled Luna in close and dipped her as they kissed.

They were laughing and crying and holding each other tight. They were in their own world for the time being. But the RECEPTION starts now. And that's what everyone really came for. There's alcohol, food in a buffet, and cake . Those of you at the cake tasting with them may notice the flavor you recommended is available as a donut! All of the suggested flavors are availalble, it was hard to decide who didn't get their favorite and what ONE flavor to make an entire cake out of. It didn't sit well with either of them. 

Also sparklers  There is a table with a few gifts on it, but it contains a large display of long sparklers with matches and a bucket of water saying "Please light up our night!" 

SO Have at the reception everybody!

There is a: Dance floor with music booming, a buffet with delicious food and CAKE, There is BOOZE of all types and it's just flowing with no signs of stopping, and sparklers! Also dancing with the bride..... or getting a photo with the couple!

Oh, much different! Before the wedding, the bride-to-be must gift her beloved's parents four items- something conquered, something bruised, something severed, and something blue!

[This didn't translate well to human custom at all, though. Most people aren't accustomed to getting captured people dropped on their doorstep along with a stolen hand. Looma feels pretty confident this step was skipped, because she would have definitely heard about it if it wasn't.]

There may be additional events that take place at the wedding itself, but registering for plunder is always important. Oh, and the parents of the betrothed must battle! I know that may not be possible here, but I am sure a captain would be an acceptable substitute- I would fight on your behalf of course, as your former captain. And when my friend Droga got married, she and her betrothed bludgeoned their guests with His and Her warhammers!

[There is probably entirely too much excitement coming from Looma right now, given...well, every part of what she's just said...]

Oh, well... what constitutes that? Can they be the same thing? Seems like you could combine some items under that criteria. Or would that seem cheap on the bride's part?

We register for gifts at home too but... Luna and I don't need anything here... except real food but that's just something we have to make work somehow... wait battle? But what if someone's parents are elderly? I... don't think you need to fight Furiosa on my behalf. I don't want you girls hurting each other.

[Say what you will about their society, the concept of calling someone an "in-law" was foreign as hell. Your family just got bigger was all. TWO FULL SETS OF PARENTS!!! What a bargain- you might even get new brothers and sisters out of it! This was super important for someone who happened to be an only child, spoiled princess or not.]

They are as much a gift as a show of how dedicated you are to embracing the union and all it entails! I briefly considered conquering the entire planet when the time came- for something conquered, of course- but I decided that would be too gaudy.

[She's not so caught up in reliving her pre-wedding bliss prior to the engagement being dissolved to ignore him completely however, and she does get back to his questioning in good time.]

Oh they are not merely gifts, Noctis! Gifts may be purchased. Plunder must be claimed through combat! I must ask for your understanding in advance of course- this planet was somewhat lacking in challenging prospects, but I did try to acquire something as appropriate to the occasion as possible.

Oh and you need not worry about us hurting each other! We have met, and I assure you, I will remain perfectly safe! I would be more than willing to arrange our battle myself, I do not doubt you are much too busy to concern yourself with such details!
