Meet me at the altar in your white dress
Who: Everyone
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Kayanni System, the city

There is a wedding on the planet. You may know this because you were invited to this wedding by this little guy and it's a lovely ceremony! You can watch the couple get married, wether you know them or not, the whole fleet was invited.Even if they don't know you either.
Noctis was in all black and he was beside himself, the time had finally come and after seeing his beautiful bride he couldn't look away. The music was soft yet appropriate. Luna was beaming, holding onto Shiro's arm down the aisle until they were together and holding hands. The vows went on as if in another room. Noctis couldn't quite focus on them, he was fighting getting sucked into Luna's orbit and just kissing her prematurely. Distantly he heard his cue to repeat after the offician and he recited his vows word for word. Umbra had their rings ready for them. When he put Luna's on her finger he felt a tear spill down his cheek. He couldn't stop smiling. The officiant led Luna then and Noctis hung on every word. Her voice was melodic and soft. Then he had a ring on his finger and he felt himself crying again. He just looked at her, he officiant left them through the end, announcing it was over, they were married.
Noctis didn't wait for any cue, he pulled Luna in close and dipped her as they kissed.
SO Have at the reception everybody!

[There's no shame in his tone or expression; just cheerfully matter-of-fact. It'd been ingrained long before Angeal started training it into him. Kids leave their small towns to join SOLDIER and be heroes. It was true even before Sephiroth's name was the one everyone whispered about as the best example of who to emulate; he just helped to make it more popular than ever.]

[ She'd seen it all, and she'd been at his side for a lot of it. Aerith just hums quietly, sliding up to wrap her arms around Zack's neck gently, leaning against him and basking in the comfort of him being right there. Sometimes you need to talk about the sad things, but that didn't mean you had to ignore the happier ones. ]
Both of you are heroes.

[He'd faced Sephiroth as just a regular trooper, no SOLDIER enhancements or much training to speak of. What's more, he took him down, put him out of commission for five years. That's huge. That's heroic.
He's not so sure about his own accomplishments - he'd failed at an awful lot - but if Aerith thinks he's a hero... well, that's enough for him.]

[ Wish you could have seen it.
Aerith purses her lips, but she shakes her head. There's no use being morose over things they can't change when they're here together in the end, and that's what matters. It's easier to lean close, to press into his arms and to just dance, to let themselves have this moment.
Why ruin it. ]
I'm glad we're all together.

Yeah, me too. This place isn't perfect, but it's done something pretty awesome by bringing us all together like this.

Zack? [ She hums, quietly. ] This is romantic, isn't it? [ Dancing at a wedding. ]

[If they weren't so cozy he'd try to spin her around or do a dip, but there's something so soft and comfortable about the way they're dancing, shaking it up with something more formal (in the clumsy way he'd no doubt pull it off) is likely to mess with how it feels. Maybe they don't need all that fussy stuff. It's not like they've ever needed it before.]
Probably... the only way it'd be more romantic is when it's, like. Your own wedding, I'd guess.

[ Closing her eyes, Aerith leans against him, resting gently. It's nice, and that's what she decides. There's warmth and happiness inside of her, and when her arms tighten around him it's because she wants to keep him close, not because of sadness or fear or anything like it. ]
I never really thought about that.

[They'd been pretty young back when they were first dating, and things are still so new and unstable; even if they did return to how they used to be, it's not like he could just up and propose with Cloud in the mix. Two boyfriends is acceptably strange! Adding marriage into the equation might get awkward.]

[ She had always been mourning Zack, and as soon as she had found Cloud she had... Died. The idea of getting married had seemed impossible in the end, when she had the duty of the Planet on her shoulders, the Promised Land in front of her. It was never in her destiny. ]

[There are certain things that don't really factor in anymore - sharing a life "till death" or whatever is a bit meaningless for all of them at this point - but he's genuinely curious, albeit casual. They just hooked up, so rushing things along is pointless, but sometimes getting her to admit if she wants something is like pulling teeth.]

[ Aerith considers it. Could it be something now? But she doesn't think it's really something she needs. She has Zack and Cloud and she loves them both and they want her, they chose her, together. That's good enough, isn't it? That's enough for her. She can't be too greedy; she can't ask for that much more. ]
There are more important things.

He's happy if she's happy. That's all that matters to him. So he smiles and hugs her close, content and calm. This is plenty.]
Yeah... agreed.
no subject
Yeah. [ Leaning up, she smiles. ] I get to be with you. That's good.
