so i have a question
is anyone here good with plants??? im running low on elfroot and i was wonder if anyone can
grow it or cultivate it or something i need a lot of it a constant source
also uh
lyrium need that too but it isnt something you can grow
if atroma could be so nice to give me some?? pretty please

I can help you grow some elfroot? But I don't think you can just get lyrium. It doesn't seem like that's something that's entirely possible.

I was growing it with Anders, so there's some growing already. Well, it's not identical, but he said it was similar enough and I trust his judgement. Lyrium, on the other hand, is a very specific sort of thing. I wouldn't trust anything that just seems 'similar'.

i never really listened to any of my alchemy lessons so i have no idea if it can be used in other things
but i do know how to make a mean lyrium potion
kinda have to when youre living on the run :D

I only know what Cullen and Wolfe told me. I know how powerful it is, of course, but I always imagined it as more of a catalyst.

when made correctly it is kind of a on the spot pick me up for mages
i cant cast spells forever eventually i will run out of mana and become exhausted
the potions gives me back some of it while also boosting my spells for a time

I knew that magic worked on mana, but I didn't realise you could run out. That sounds exhausting.

its sorta the same thing as energy i guess
im kinda useless if i am tired wouldnt be able to throw even the smallest fireball
can be in long fights

My magic is so different, I suppose. It's just like fighting normally - if you get tired then you need to stop, and it's more physical than any kind of magic source inside me. It must be difficult to balance.
