so i have a question
is anyone here good with plants??? im running low on elfroot and i was wonder if anyone can
grow it or cultivate it or something i need a lot of it a constant source
also uh

if atroma could be so nice to give me some?? pretty please
not actually sure if you can ask them for stuff or how to
balls
im at the malum if anyone wants me
[ Indeed if anyone does go looking for Marian Hawke or happens to wander into the Malum in the next few hours they will find the Champion of Kirkwall there, tucked away in the most isolated corner she can manage nursing a drink. It might be her fifth at this point, not that it matters she has an amazing tolerance. She is leaning on the table lazily, idly thumbing through her communicator as her mabari, fondly named Dog, sits protectively by her feet.
She looks miserable, or bored, it's a little tough to tell. But what a better time to bother her, right? ]

When she gets the delayed reaction from the woman, Edna doesn't do anything but stand there with her gloved hand out for the herb to be placed in it like she requested and her face a mask of annoyed blankness that she pulls off so well.
Once the plant is in her hand, her face transforms into one of complete concentration. People she might not like, but plants, rocks, dirt.... those are her element. Literally.]
It's like sage on my world. The roots are similar. I can do something with this, but it'll take some time. Nature can only be forced so far.

She keeps silent as the root leaves her fingers at the girl's expression shifts from irritation to concentration, inspecting the root intently. The silence feels like it goes on forever, feels like it grinds against Hawke's nerves.
It's why she breathes a sight of relief when Edna speaks, muscles relaxing to sink into the chair. More happy that the silence has been broken than the news delivered. ]
You can? [ S c o r e. ] I don't expect anything instantly, it's for the future. Rather not run out at some vital moment.

But—maybe it's Sorey's terrible influence—that doesn't stop her from helping if she can.]
Yes, shouldn't be too difficult. I've dealt with worse. [Dragons, Zaveid, Kittybeard, Pathetic Pansy.] You have a name, Herb lady?

For the first time in at least four hours Marian Hawke manages a smile, a genuine smile. ]
It's Hawke, and yours?

And those stupid clerics would be crushed under the weight of Edna's irritation if they could even see her. Probably even if they couldn't. She hates stupidity.]
Edna. Give me a week, Featherhead.

[ The smile almost feels odd on her face but it doesn't stop, growing wider as she laughs. Featherhead, that's a new one. She doesn't at all seem to be insulted by it, if anything for a moment she looks almost proud. ]
Alright, a week. Sounds good. [ She should have enough to last that long, at the very least. ] If this works I'll forever be in your debt, Edna.

[But she doesn't hate it either.]
We can talk about how you can pay me back later.

I'll be around here when you need me.
