[He was asleep for so long that he had very little time on the planet. But he only needed a little time to get what he needed. Just after the drift begins and the planet is a distant spark on the horizon, he starts flitting from ship to ship and cabin to cabin to find people.

Action for Goldstone
For the members of his crew, he has a little gift for everyone. He'll be coming by crew cabins or finding people at their stations, anywhere they are, so he can deliver a little handwrapped present with a smile.

Action for the Fleet
With his main gifts given out, he'll start shuttling over to ships at random. Wonder what that noise is in the cargo bay? What about that weird banging noise in the kitchen? Well it's the Fleet's resident samurai, piglet in tow, and he's leaving little gift baskets for each ship - candy, non-perishables like dried fruit and canned goods, shower gel, a flamingo hat, random weird junk like these things, etc. Whatever he could buy down on the planet, he's stuffed into baskets and is leaving them on every ship for everyone.

Or you could find him wandering the Iskaulit with Saizou trailing behind passing out brightly colored candies. Who knows what flavors they are - maybe Floot Loops.]

Thank you. [He tilts his head and then bows it with a smile.]

I hope you don't mind that I broke in here to leave it then?

Aahh... I mean, it was a nice gesture, but a little startling to find you in here.

Maybe a short warning next time?

[Okita pats his leg and Saizou comes skulking out of the shadows, dragging a small cardboard box behind him.]

But if I warned you, it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?

[tempredmental]

Well, no... but I was never a huge fan of surprises. I mean, I get it? They can be fun? But, even just a... Hey, I'm stopping by... without actually saying anything as to why? That would be fine. [He shrugged a little.] I'd be less likely to pull a sword on you, anyway.

[ahappylie]

[He laughs and tips the box off Saizou's butt, causing the pig to grunt unhappily.]

Well, then the next time I decide to surprise you, I'll be sure to give you a message.

[Not that he couldn't handle himself against a sword - even an strange looking one. He's been having to restrain himself a lot on the Fleet because of that, not wanting to frighten people.]

But for next time, who should I call?

[tempredmental]

Anyone on the ship's crew, I guess. [He shrugged a bit.] We have a communications officer on the Huntress right now, too, so that's a good person to try first. His name is Zavid.

[ahappylie]

[Zavid - that's a name he's heard bandied about before. Still he laughs a little and leans down, picking the piglet off the floor to cradle him and his hurt pride in his arms.]

I was trying to be subtle about asking for your name, you know.

[tempredmental]

[Subtle didn't work with Keith. He blinked, and then his widened suddenly.]

Oh. Right. Sorry. I'm Keith.

[ahappylie]

[Apparently not, but the surprise on his face is totally worth having to be blunt.

Keith of the Huntress - Zavied as well. Good to know.

Okita bows his head slightly and smiles.]

It's good to properly meet you. I'm-- [There's a pause as he wavers between the truth and a lie. He's been lying for so long here, but more and more it seems like he doesn't need to do that anymore. No one ever seems to know about him and it's getting less likely every day. So what's the harm, right? Keith, with his fancy futuristic sword, probably isn't from the Choshu after all. And he'll never be able to get closer to the people on this Fleet if he doesn't stop lying someday.]

Okita Souji. Although you might hear some people refer to me as Soujirou.

[tempredmental]

[Keith looked momentarily confused by the hesitation, and nodded a little. After a beat where he seemed to consider it, he spoke up.]
