[...con... fetti? alright, that sure is a thing that just happened. Billy's used to teleporting, but it's never felt quite like this. so weird. everything about this is weird, weird, weird, and coming from him that's saying something.

Reaching around the back of his head, he pats awkwardly at where the augment rests, disturbed, and starts wandering through the halls of the ship. Might as well get acquainted, and maybe make sure he's not just super crazy right now. You never know, where he's from.]

Okay, so, ignoring that this is kind of awful and I hate that I apparently can't teleport myself home...

Any advice for first-timers? Can't say I've watched much reality TV back home. Um, barring that... what's some good places to visit off-ship if you've got like five cents to your name?

[Was that... Billy? Out here? Well look at that. It had been awhile since Remy had seen him, all the way back to Luceti, but he knew better than to assume it would be the same 'him'. Too many universes, too many times, too many rewritten memories.

It did however bring a brief but painful pang of emotions at those earlier days, memories of when Wanda was around and how they had managed to piece together a rather weird friendship between them.]

Try not to think too much 'bout it all, easier to just go with the flow 'nd try 'nd 'njoy what we got, which be boredom broken up with random planet landin's.

[ As one of the newest arrivals to the wonderful Blue Fish, Aerith can't help peeking in to check up on all the other newcomers that poke their head around. It just so happens she manages to wander into the newest member as he walks through the halls, and she offers him a bright smile and a small wave. ]

[Whoa, is that- that's Gambit, right? Never met him directly, but he was present during the big Avenger-X-Men showdown when they found Wanda. Fingers crossed this goes better.]

rather than a direct reply, Billy responds with an attached photo- a selfie of himself, gesturing at open space through a ship's window. what the fuck is this.]

[whoa, hey! turns out there are in fact people here. Billy's momentarily startled, but he manages to offer back a wave of his own.]

Oh, hey! Sorry for just, uh. Busting in. Though I guess that's how it works here.

[Whelp, there's that jingle. Riona catches that there are two new people on her ship. Seems like Atroma's trying to replace the deficit that they created over the past few months. While Riona hasn't been in the best of moods lately, to put it lightly, she's not going to ignore a new crew member. Plus, hey. Pudding.

They always show up in the same spot, so it doesn't take long for her to find one of them. The confetti always gives it away, if nothing else.]

[ -- the picture makes her grin. it's a smile that threatens to make her cheeks ache with how complete and delighted it is. and that's not fair, really, because no one should gladly be caught here of all places. but oh, god, he's a sight for sore hawkeyes.

I'd say "I'm here to rescue you!" here but I think we both know that's bull.

I'd always wondered what would happen if you showed up. Whether they'd hobble your abilities or -- well, truth is I've probably thought about it way too much.

[Billy reaches up, dusting some confetti out of his hair. Sure is a messy arrival, too.]

The... Blue Fish? That's the ship, right?

[This isn't Dr. Doom or Cube-style hobbling, which is nice, because those were pretty much the worst things ever.]

Yes, it is. Easily recognizable by the blue fish painted on the outside and known for having a steady supply of meat in the freezers. [You can thank the captain for that one.] I'm Riona, pilot and long-time crew member of the Blue Fish.

Nah, sit tight. I want to see if regular teleports work.

[hopefully she's presentable? because he's trying it, like, now.]

Um, Billy. Newcomer! Obviously. I think I'm supposed to be... personnel?

[whatever that means.]

[ she's in yoga capris and an over-sized tshirt -- but that's never been a barrier to being presentable when it comes to keeping his company. her hair is tossed back in a messy, half-formed bun. and when billy winks into existence, here in her room on the blameless, lucky perks up and offers a soft boff. he knows this scent.

kate's sitting cross-legged on her bed. she quickly discards the comms device in her hands and hops to her feet -- rushing to throw her arms around billy and drag him down to her height. ]

Huh. Guess it works. Kudos.

[ -- very understated. ]

[Yeah, he knows this feeling; it's the hug of "it's been a while". He returns it with ease, because even if it hasn't been that long for him, he's glad that she's here too.]

[ she's slow to let him go. however long she's been here, however long it's been, she's been keeping her arms in good shape because she gets in a good squeeze before finally nudging him backward. her hands stay on his shoulders. ]

For a ranging definition of the word okay. Yeah. [ captain kate bishop, reporting for duty. she needs to warn him about the danger that's on the horizon, about the planet below, but she can't go too fast with too much. billy can handle a lot, but that doesn't make her any more keen to overwhelm him. ]

How long since you arrived?

Depends what you're looking for on the planet—if you're that broke, there's usually places that will hire people for a few days work while we're in a system.

[A fact Natasha almost always takes advantage of.]

Most of the planets we stop at seem used to people just passing through.

Nice to meet you. [Ah, another personnel. Their ship seems to attract them.] If you're personnel, then you get your own office in addition to the room you're assigned. Nice bit of extra space.

[ At least he's polite, which Aerith appreciates. ]

I know, trust me, I know, [When he had first been thrown into this all, Remy had dedicated a chunk of his time to figuring out an exit, the idea of being trapped just too much for him to take.
