Okay, so, ignoring that this is kind of awful and I hate that I apparently can't teleport myself home...

Any advice for first-timers? Can't say I've watched much reality TV back home. Um, barring that... what's some good places to visit off-ship if you've got like five cents to your name?

[Was that... Billy? Out here? Well look at that. It had been awhile since Remy had seen him, all the way back to Luceti, but he knew better than to assume it would be the same 'him'. Too many universes, too many times, too many rewritten memories.

[yeah, he knew that already too, but it's nice to get confirmation. plus not everyone takes that sort of news well; Kate's already clarified that this might be some weird, alternate-reality nonsense.]

[A smile and a nod to the video feed, before Remy paused, once again considering if to bring it up and... ah, screw it.] 've run 'cross a version of ya before, not here, but a place I was before. Didn't get to know ya, him, that well, but, [A shrug of a shoulder, leaving it open, deciding to be a bit more open about it than he could be. More than he had been with others on the Fleet, knowing them from TV or movies and keeping quiet about it.]

So get that there be some weird universal cross over that may be happenin', pretty much use to it for the most, or 'til something really bad comes up 'bout 'nother me from somewhere else, then may have to reconsider that statement.

[He's met enough alternate versions of himself at this point to know that it can be kind of a garbage experience. He feels sorry for anybody who has to meet those Billys.]

Don't worry cher, ya not nothin' to worry 'bout. [Remy offered with a smile to reassure him, before it took on a more joking tone.] Not sure I could say the same 'bout m'self if ya ever ran 'nto 'nother one of me, have too much fun gettin' up to no good.

Well, I don't know what reality you're from, but I have met my world's, um, Remy. [Gambit.] Or I guess it's more like we saw each other? It's not like we exchanged hellos or anything. There was a lot going on at the time.

[There was a shrug to go along with that grin of his.] Ah, that sounds 'bout right, donno 'bout other versions of me but I tend not to get 'nto the limelight if I can avoid it, doesn't really work with m' normal profession, hein?

Plus donno if I would rather make name for m'self rather than ya judgin' me based on actions of 'nother. [Even if that was a risk, maybe the other Remy left a better impression on people than he has at times.]

Oh, 'nd if ya really worried 'bout cash, [And wanted to get it more legitimately than Remy did at times.] 'nd want to burn some time between stops, there be a few places 'round here for work, donno if they got space for new comers at the moment, but worth keepin' an eye on if ya needin' to get 'way from that tin cans they keep us in.

Sounds normal enough- if you want money, work for it. Capitalism at its finest.

My skillset is pretty limited, though... hopefully they're forgiving of my lack of experience.

So many people from different places, 'nd times, 'nd universes that we got a large pool of knowledge floatin' 'round here. 'nd worse case, do have those chip things they got stuck in our heads 'nd feedin' us all sorts of 'nformation.

That's good to know. Back home you know how it goes, "entry level position, requires 12 years experience". S'why in some ways it's actually easier to be a super.
