[video] [action]
Who: Lance and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Blameless
When: Shortly post planet go boom
[Video]
[The vast majority of people here know Lance as constantly loud, boisterous, all smiles even in the face of bad news. Constantly flitting from person to person, acting as a sort of giant team cheerleader. But this Lance? He looks small and tired. If you squint, you can see a little tremble passing through his body. He can't even muster up one of his trademark smiles right now.]
So that's it, huh? That's...it. That's all we could do.
[Action - Blameless]
[Lance knows he can't just lay here in his room and mope. People need him, he could still help. It's his role to comfort people and to keep their spirits up. He should be doing that, and helping with first aid anyone who got injured. He should, but he can't move from his bed right now. All the fear of this situation is finally settling in--no, it's more like a truck hitting him at full speed.
He's spent all this time helping everyone he can, distracting them, in a way distracting himself, and it's only now after it's all over that he realizes how terrified he's been all along. And especially now, with the dead remains of a planet floating right outside his window... And Looma...
You're useless without your lion and Voltron. Part of him knows that it isn't true; he'd helped some others through the month and he evacuated as many people as he can, but his fear is leaving him hyperfocused on those he couldn't save.]

Good. Great. Sweet. Mission accomplished. I mean, like...both of us...having a good sleep. And stuff. Nice rest.

[He felt Lance's arm twitch a little, but he wasn't really sure if he should move, either. Keith just sort of... stayed there...
WHAT DO.]
Yeah. Uh... right. So...
Morning.
no subject
[He's going to throw himself out an airlock.]
no subject
Keith blinked, still not moving because Lance wasn't moving, and he was kind of trapped on the bed as a result. He was getting kind of jumpy at how awkward all this was, but he didn't want to be stupid. Just... chill. It was okay. There was nothing going on. They'd just been comforting each other and fell asleep.]
Heh... right. Triple good. Yours, too, I guess?
no subject
[God help them both.
Finally, finally Lance moves his arm, untrapping Keith. He's still not going to say a word about it though.]
no subject
[OH THANK GOD... he moved. Keith had to resist the urge to bolt upright, trying to shake the trapped animal feeling he had as he sat up and pretended everything was just fine. He hadn't felt weird about being against the wall last night, but having Lance's arm over him and being against the wall had made him definitely uneasy. If this ever happened again, he was going to make sure he was on the outside.
He could also finally see the time.
He needed to kill a few more minutes before he was sure that Shiro would be on the Iskaulit. He had a feeling he could get out of talking to anyone else on the Blameless about this, but Shiro was definitely going to be an issue if he found the two of them waking up together.]
You mind if I just stay here for a bit until I'm sure Shiro's off for the morning? He'll be all over this if he figures out I stayed the whole night.
[Trust him, Lance. Shiro was a really annoying big brother sometimes.]
no subject
Small blessings, at least?]
No problemo. Stay as long as you want. I mean, I asked you to come over, I'm not going to just kick you out. That'd be rude.
[He sits up and yawns, giving Keith a little grin.]
You have bedhead.
no subject
[Keith's eyes widened for a moment, and then he reached up to smooth it out. It normally hung kind of messy anyway, so it really didn't bother him unless it looked really crazy.
Though, he did smirk a little at Lance in return.]
So do you.
no subject
[He practically dives for a mirror. Just as Keith said, he really does have bedhead, and Lance groans as he frantically tries to tame it with his fingers.]
Nooooo... You've seen my worst side.
no subject
You just woke up. It's not a big deal. No one expects perfection when you crawl right out of bed.
[He shook his head and stood up for a moment just to at least stretch and get out some of the kinks from being squished into a single bed with another person and almost crammed against a wall.]
no subject
[It's not really bragging, it's just...Lance being Lance, and very much obviously covering up for the fact that he's embarrassed about his hair and the whole situation in general. He grumbles, finally managing to get his hair to cooperate.]
no subject
It's not a big deal, Lance. Really.
[Just stop being so loud. It'll draw attention.]
no subject
Whatever, I'm just trying to look my best.
no subject
[Keith shook his head.]
You're fine. Trust me, okay?
[He looked amused at Lance's suffering.]
no subject
So you're saying I look good, huh?
no subject
[That came out a little defensively and awkward. Keith crossed his arms and looked away, towards the picture wall. Despite his best efforts to try and focus on all the other pictures, his eyes kept drifting towards that one.]
no subject
[He doesn't notice where Keith's gaze is drifting, not yet.]
no subject
[Keith just shook his head with a roll of his eyes.]
I don't get you sometimes.
no subject
That makes two of us, buddy.
no subject
Huh?
no subject
[He chuckles, tearing his eyes away from the picture.]
Maybe not as confusing as you, but I don't think I've met anyone who is.
no subject
I'm definitely not as confusing as Coran.
no subject
no subject
I'm just not very open.
[He shrugged a little self-consciously and looked away.]
no subject
[Shrug.]
The option's there if you want it. You're, uh-- You're...cómo se dice... Important. So. You know.
