[Zelda is seated on her bed, looking a bit dishevelled after her long sleep - but alert enough. She bows her head slightly when the video starts.]

I understand from the network that a tragedy has recently occurred. I want to convey my sympathies, and my apologies for not being able to help. I have been through a calamity before; it is not something I would wish on any world.

If anyone would like to talk or needs assistance with anything, please know that you can call on me. My name is Zelda, for those who I have not met.

[Despite the very belated awakening, Zelda is glad that she had decided to check the network first. At least she knew the details. And, the song of the planet still whispers in her heart that despite the circumstances, things may be all right for Lyuku in the end.

Now that she's awake, she's not sure what to do with herself. She trails around the Goldstone for a bit, peeking in any open doors - if you're in there, she'll say hello. After a while she heads to the med lab and tidies up, before sitting on the stool.

Anyone passing by might hear the faint sounds of an ocarina within, sometimes random notes, occasionally a melody.]

[Takeshi is sitting in the kitchen area, staring into the table -- through it, really -- and he doesn't hear Zelda come in until it's too late; she's likely already caught him lost in his thoughts, and he feels silly, scooting back in his chair to look up at her, flustered. He was trying his best to be a bit more covert about his feelings, especially because the pang in his heart for Okita is hard to keep at bay.]

Oh -- Hi! Hi, Miss Zelda!

[... He hates when he's not focused and hard at work for his crew.

Shame on him, he thinks.]

[It's her own fault, wandering around only in socks. Not to mention she's been in a coma for weeks - who would expect her to appear behind them? Not Takeshi, obviously. When she approached Takeshi all she could think about was how small he appeared. Too small for such a responsibility. And yet, she had borne her own duties in silence at his age, so who was she to judge.

She gives what she hopes is a reassuring smile, smoothing her hair down absently.]

Hello, captain. I hope I didn't startle you.

[He shakes his head quickly, to ease any of her concerns.]

I'm fine! I was just -- kinda thinking hard. I'm sorry I didn't come check up on you yet today; I tried to check a lot, but it was really hard to 'cus of the problems on the planet...

[It was a whirlwind of panic and determined helpers.]

Do you feel okay?

I'm all right. Thank you for checking on me - I'm sure it was dull to do so.

[Since she just laid there like a dead thing, most likely. She sobers up when Takeshi mentions the troubles on the planet.]

I heard a little about it on the network. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help. Are you all right?

It's okay! I had Hoi Hoi with me, so I was never bored to check.

[Hoi Hoi is a great panda friend. He never lets Takeshi get complacent. Always chasing that kid.]

And I'm okay, too. I'm... Um. I'm a little sad, because... a few people I knew...

[He's not sure if she knows them; it makes him hesitate, looking concerned, pained.]
