First Breath of October
Who: First Breath crew and visitors!
Broadcast: If desired
Action: SS First Breath
When: Month of October
[As the fleet leaves the Eyuzi system behind and drifts into increasingly deserted space, it's become obvious that two members of the fleet - Furiosa and Kaidan - never returned from their missions.
But, as Lyuku begins to heal so is the crew of the First Breath, and soon the two will return.
Otherwise...idk, spooky stuff.]

Not too serious, as she hopes she doesn't have to repeat this experience ever again. "You seemed to fare alright without me - ship's still in one piece. I think you're better at this than you claim."

A faint snort. "Oh, you missed earlier this week, when I was faintly .... insane with grief."

"Sorry you had to go through that." Not enough to regret her decisions, though, but grief can be a heavy thing. It's also humbling to think of someone missing her that much. "You seem sober, though, so it must have been a brief insanity." Poking a little light fun at him now.

"In the moment it was ... I was okay with it. My life at home, there were so many near-misses; I wasn't surprised that at some point the situation would be non-salvageable. Maybe a little surprised it hadn't happened sooner." She drops her hand into her lap and sighs, sagging back into the chair, "Coming back, though?" She rolls her head to look over at Tyrion. "That's a been a bitch." Even now she's bearing the symptoms of illness.

He tipped his head. "Is it selfish for me to say I am glad you survived, regardless?"

"No, I think it's -- human nature." She looks back at him again, "I wouldn't wish the dead alive on my world, but then my world was a lot harder to live in than this; sometimes it's a release. It's a relief. Here, this?" She makes a small dismissive wave at her current condition, "It'll pass."
She hopes. She's not exactly sure on that point, though, but only time will tell.

"As all things should, in time."

"Should, keyword." Somethings never quite left you.

Settling back in the chair, adjusting slightly to get comfortable, she'll lapse into easy silence with him and watch the stars go by, eventually drifting off into a light sleep.
