2nd Judgment ⚖ Action ⚖ Open
Who: Justice and YOU
Broadcast: None
Action: Planetside in the forest
When: Between the crash and the post by Zhade
[No one was probably expecting to stumble across a guy who looks like a corpse standing over the literal corpse of one of the hunters. One could ask how Justice came across a dead hunter, but Justice's security-issued ray gun and the hunter's scorched head should probably answer that question.
What people probably expect even less than this vision is Justice ignoring the body and instead holding the dead hunter's machete, glaring down at it like he can set it on fire with his eyes. He could be taking cover and wait to see if more Vieziri come through, or maybe he could be searching for more Fleeters to give the supplies he carries on his back, but no. Glaring at a machete is the best use of his time.
After an uncomfortably long time where he literally does not move, not even to breathe or blink, he growls and throws the machete to the ground with much more force than necessary.] Useless. Better it be burned. [Everything about him hums with frustration and anger as he tears pieces of the hunter's mask of its burnt face, now glaring at it the same as he glared at the machete.
Maybe he should be worried? After all, when there's one Vieziri, there's usually more. But he does not seem worried--he seems single-mindedly focused on glaring at the mask like it owes him money.
Those who are familiar with Justice and his power may be able to tell he's looking for something in the memories attached to the Vieziri's possessions. More specifically, he's looking for the hunters' main base, so he can go there andget himself killed bring these monsters to justice. Justice is nothing if not predictable.]

[The brightness doesn't leave his eyes, but his shoulders lose some of the tension and he stops rotating the ring on his finger.]
The Caprine is in orbit. The shuttle I arrived in was shot down, but no one suffered any injuries and the supplies were largely unharmed. Yours?

[Because OF COURSE HE WOULD.]
Pretty damaged. I wasn't able to get us out of firing range in time, and we got shot down. Crashed pretty hard, too. Luckily only a few injuries.

Justice nods as she speaks.] Have you need of supplies? [Justice brought lots of things that humans would need for the wilderness. Even food that is actually edible and not just random stuff like a bottle of garlic powder and a sack of raw rice.]

Then let us meet with him.
[Justice frowns down at the Vieziri before picking up the machete, scowling as he tucks it on his back. There may be someone who will need a blade, and he shouldn't waste it. He keeps the mask on hand. He will use that to try to track more Vieziri.]

With a nod, she turns and begins to walk, knowing Justice would follow long.]
It's a bit of a walk back to the ship. I patrolled a little further than usual today, as it was strangely quiet. Guess they honed in on you instead.
[And oh boy did they pay for it.]

[He cocks his gun as he follows Riona, which feels quite familiar and comfortable at this point. He is perfectly ready to blast the face off of any hunter that comes by.]

Seem to have gotten a good idea of how to use those. Do you like them? I could never quite get the hang of them.

I do not know how I feel about a weapon that takes so little skill to use. [On one hand, it gives people the means to defend themselves if they don't have magic or the money and prestige to squire for a knight. That is good. On the other hand, it makes it very, very easy for people to kill each other in large numbers. That's not as good.]

[It's good that it's easy to use, and ideally it would be accessible to the most vulnerable people, but Justice doesn't like the idea of a weapon this destructive. He'd prefer easy and accessible weapons like this to be disabling, not lethal.]
