[It's been a long couple months, but things seem to be quiet again.  More or less.  Varying repairs on the go, winding down, and the invasion of yet more FF7 characters.  Y'all have fun, now.]

[Nami checks the roster each week like clockwork, to see who goes and who stays. She's not surprised at all that Aerith's name pops up this time around, with both Cloud and Zack here. It's kind of relieving, actually-- Ginko's gone, and she knows Aerith's a healer. Nami's first aid only really goes so far on that score.

She fetches up after her bar shift at Aerith's open door, knocking quietly on the frame.]

Hey. Welcome aboard...?

[ Her healing might not be as good as it is at home with the proper materia and connection to the Planet and lifestream, but she's making do, and she's already interested in going and poking around with the lab to see what they're doing. It's not her area, not really, but she's curious, and curiosity has always - mostly - boded well for her.

The knock at her door drags her from her thoughts and Aerith steps over, smiling when she sees Nami. ]

Aerith. It's nice to meet you.

[Cloud kind of dobbed her in on the healing front, when Nami was busy panicking about Zack in the crash.]

Likewise. Though I've heard about you before now. I wondered if you'd join us eventually. I'm Nami, ship's Captain.

[By random raffle, but eh.]

I couldn't let Zack and Cloud get their way straight away!

[ She hums, crossing her arms behind her back. ]

How long have you been here?

[She tilts her head, thinking for a moment, but the answer's not that hard. At least two years. And--]

Two years three months, I think. Not ideal. [Not a real hopeful answer for a newcomer either, so her smile is vaguely apologetic.] But I do have friends here. Makes it a lot easier.

That's a long time. [ And she does sound a little awed, even as she frowns. ] I like it here. I don't think I'd want to be anywhere else right now.

[Her glance this time is more assessing. These three are all from the same place, aren't they? And very close knit.

Not something she's gonna ask about any time soon. Instead, Nami shakes her head a little.]

Some people are like that here, definitely. I don't blame them. Myself, I want to get home, but we could get stuck in worse places.
