Who: Keith, Team Voltron, Open
Broadcast: To Team Voltron
Action: Huntress, Iskaulit, The Melting Pot
When: Varies
Happy Birthday (Late)
On the Huntress, as the Fleet leaves the system
[Keith found the crate in the cargo bay. Having seen what comes from these already, he was slightly concerned. Lance had gotten one for his birthday. He wasn't sure what to think about this. He stepped forward and, sure enough, it was for him.
He took a deep breath, glanced around to make sure he was alone, and then opened it.
...
Man... Keith was pretty sure he didn't want anyone to see this... which meant it was highly likely someone else on the ship was going to as he tried to figure out what to do with it.]

Happy Late Birthday, the Party Edition
On the Iskaulit, two days after Friendsgiving
[Shiro and Lance had gotten permission from Jarvis to use the Melting Pot for a small birthday dinner for Keith. It was over a month late, but the cannibal race clearly didn't care about Keith's birthday. Now that things had calmed down, it was time to do something nice for their teammate. Respecting Keith's dislike for large, noisy parties, they'd gone the smaller "family dinner" type of event route.
Invited: Team Voltron, Huntress crew, Kirk, Kate, Sokka, Kaname, Freya, Luna, Arthur, Kitty, Vash, Prompto, Katie, Looma, Lumière, almost anyone who's had positive CR with Keith... if you're not sure, ask. Party crashers are cool, but antagonistic crashers will be escorted out.]

Finding Space
On the Iskaulit, during the birthday party as Keith excused himself to the "bathroom" for a moment
[Keith had managed to get some time away from the party using the excuse that he needed a short break. He appreciated it, sure, but it was a little overwhelming to be the center of attention for this long. So, he headed out for a bit. He'd go back, but he needed some air... or space... or something.
He stepped into a small space he'd never noticed before. It was empty, but he'd been debating a few things for a while now, like how the team was split between different ships, and it would be nice for them to have a shared space to hang out. He took some time looking it over before heading back to the party. It seemed like a cool idea. He'd tell them after the party was over...]

Video to Team Voltron
On the Huntress, the day after the birthday party
Hey, guys... I found something on the Iskaulit last night I kind of wanted to show you. Mind meeting me there?

Decorating Lessons
On the Iskaulit, December 1
[So, for fun, since there wasn't much in the space, yet, anyway, and because Lance had gotten his hands on a bunch of Christmas decorations somehow, Team Voltron was decorating their new space. Mistletoe, anyone?
The space will eventually be private, but it's not hard to find, and the team welcomes friends, so feel free to stop by and watch them be silly with decorations!]

{OOC: Feel free to hit me up on plurk at

no subject
[He reaches out, twirling a lock of Keith's bangs around his fingers.]
...hey, can I...?
no subject
Fine.
[He couldn't even think of anything else to answer that with.
His eyes widened a little, though, and then crossed slightly to watch Lance's finger as the sniper played with his hair.]
Can you... what...?
[He refocused back on Lance's face.]
no subject
[Oh my god, as soon as the words are out of his mouth he realizes it's such a perfect set-up for a "that's what she said" joke, but he holds it back. Even if he's practically in physical pain from doing so.]
I know I make fun of it a lot, but I'm gonna lie if I said I never thought about running my fingers through it.
no subject
But the actual request? Surprising, but not terrible. Keith scrunched his eyebrows together in amusement and shrugged a little.]
Okay.
no subject
[He lets his fingers slide up and through Keith's hair. How is it that it manages to be so soft even though he'd be surprised if Keith knew what conditioner was? It's nice, though, and there's a dopey smile on his face as he lets himself play about, combing through with his fingers and giving him a light scalp massage while he's at it.]
Yeah, I think I can get used to this.
no subject
Easy. We don't want to freak everyone out right away.
[Keith was still waiting to hear the snarky comments from across the room where Pidge was doing her thing with some decorations.]
no subject
[Still, he laughs, letting go of Keith's hair just to end up entangling their fingers together.]
How about we go on a date sometime this week? Just me and you, go for dinner at the restaurant here, walk around, stargaze, I dunno. I'll think of the deets. Then we can be as sappy as we want.
no subject
[Keith looked down at their hands entwined like that, listening to Lance's suggestion and then nodded.]
Okay. Sure.
no subject
[Not saying what exactly, of course, and he'll just be downplaying the fact that at this moment in time, she probably owns his soul.
He looks down at their hands as well and smiles.]
Wow. This is real. I thought you were going to reject me so hard I'd go flying off the ship or something.
no subject
[That sounded ominous.
Keith squeezed Lance's hand just a little. Yeah... this was real.]
I'm not that bad... am I?
no subject
No, it's not that. I mean, first off, we have butted heads for a long time. I didn't think there was a huge chance of you actually having feelings for me like I did--do--for you. Second off, the vast majority of my love life has kind of been rejection after rejection.
no subject
[Keith let go of Lance's hand to put his arm back around Lance's waist with the other one.]
And well... no rejection this time, yeah?
no subject
[Lance can't help but lean into the embrace; it feels nice, and Keith is warm, and his next gleeful thought is that the next time they have a sleepover, they can cuddle.
Cuddle! Actually cuddle! Not accidentally spoon like that other time. But really, intentionally, romantically cuddle.
This is going to be awesome.]
no subject
[If Lance looked over at Keith for that, he'd see a subtle smirk.]
no subject
[He smirks down at him, giving his forehead a kiss.]
no subject
[That got a stubborn frown in response. Remember the wedding? The slow loss of everything they'd done to try making Keith "presentable"? Yeah. His hair wasn't going to stay in any style he didn't want it in.]
no subject
[He was still going to try again to pretty you up given a fancy occasion, though, Keith. Can't have a sloppily dressed date on his arm.]
no subject
Careful. I'll have to get you back.
no subject
[He teases, but there's no taunting in his tone.]
no subject
[Keith looked smug, pulling back completely now. Leave Lance guessing...
Keith picked up some of the packaging from the decorations and starting putting them back in the box.]
no subject
[He nudges him, laughing as he helps him clean up. This might be one of the best days ever.]
no subject
I'll think about it.
[As they packed everything back in the box, he looked around to see if there was a place to stash the box. The space had a few smaller rooms attached in the back, furthest from where they entered, like offices or storage rooms for whatever had been in there originally. That would work.]
