[When the feed comes on, it's absolutely Sokka's forge in the background, but the person in the foreground is pretty damn different. Still, as soon as he opens his mouth, he is absolutely still Sokka. There's no growing up out of that, clearly.]

Sooooo, that sure was two years worth of growing done in one night. That was a fun twist on the upgrades there, thanks Atroma. I personally feel spoiled. You shouldn't have.

[Yep. The sarcasm is strong, it's still Sokka. He plucks at the Drift Fleet jumpsuit he's wearing with clear distaste. It's the only thing that fits him right now.]

So, on the off-chance we don't go to a fun system with shopping next and instead go back to a horrible nightmare planet seen as that's in vogue right now- I might need to get someone who can actually sew clothes to maybe rescue me from this Beige Hell. Please.

[He needs to be wearing blue again.]

OH! That reminds me. I got some interesting intel from our cavalry last month - if you wanna know about that kinda of stuff drop by the forge. I'd rather not talk about that over the network because of the whole Atroma's always listening thing. You get it.

[Thor switches off the communicator and grabs the nearest shuttle over to the Iskaulit. Even after nearly a month here, he's still not seen every part of the large ship. Still, he knows where to go to find the forge.

He knocks on the doorframe when he arrives.]

[Sokka's working away on whatever new piece of work has been commissioner him. He smiles at the sight of Thor, waving him in. ]

Hey, Thor. Welcome to the forge.

[Thor comes inside, looking around the forge before smiling at Sokka. It's still a bit jarring seeing the change in him in person, but he thinks he'll get used to it soon enough.]

Thank you. It looks like a good space. Do you use it often?

[At least he's prettier now, Thor, right? Right? He grins. ]

Yeah! It's actually a big help- given how Atroma tend to take our weapons from us. It gives people the chance to have a stop-gap weapon until the one they have from home shows up.

Ah, yes, that. [Thor tries to put that out of his mind most of the time, but it's hard.] It was fortunate I could get weapons on the planet during the fight, but I assume that's not always possible. So this would be a good service.

It isn't. When we first started out, it took months before we hit a planet that actually made weapons- and we didn't have this forge here to help, either. I learned a while ago that the more we can rely on ourselves over Atroma occasionally being kind to us, the better.

I can't imagine that was a coincidence, if they go to such efforts to deprive us of arms when we arrive.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, not even a little bit.

[Thor heaves an aggrieved sigh, but shrugs it off. He'd rather talk about the forge than the endless mysteries of the Atroma.]

So what have you made so far in the forge?

[This is a much more welcome subject change, and Sokka brightens considerably. ]

Oh wow, lots! Mostly weapons. I've made a couple shields, swords- OH, I made a pretty cool warhammer for my friend Looma. Buuuut I think she left it behind on a planet that exploded.

[She didn't- she just exploded WITH it. ]

A warhammer? [Interest levels immediately raised.] I fight with one of those normally.

Yeah! It was huge!

[He was really pleased with it, okay. It took a lot of work to make one Looma wouldn't break just by picking it up. ]

Well, if you ever want one here, I'm happy to try and make one for you.

[Sokka's enthusiasm is infectious, so Thor grins a bit.]

I get it, lots of people come from worlds where their weapons are one of a kind. My sword's like that- I finally got it back from Atroma, so maybe you'll be lucky enough to get your hammer?

Maybe so, yet that would also trouble me, if these Atroma are able to move it.

What...you mean like carry it about? Because I'm pretty sure they just store all our stuff on the Marsiva and just dump it in random locations when they want us to have them. I don't think anyone questions what they're doing. If they see it at all.

Yes, I do mean that. Mjolnir cannot be lifted by those who aren't worthy. I doubt these Atroma would count as such.

[Judgemental?? Yes. But not without cause.]

Okay but...how does a hammer know if someone is worthy or not? Can it speak? Or...like...what's the criteria of 'worthiness'?

[He chuckles a bit, because even Thor doesn't know all the intricacies of Mjolnir. It existed well before he was born.]

It is enchanted so that none other than the worthy can wield it. That was laid down by my father - other than he and myself, I have only known one other person who could lift it.

So...I guess you find out if you're worthy or not by trying to lift it? That's pretty cool- it's a great failsafe to make sure no one steals it.

...Aaaand now I get why you're not happy Atroma have managed to get hold of it.

If they have. I am not convinced they have it with them. It's more likely to be still on the world they took me from.

Normally, I'd say just about everything we had on us is taken by them, but this is a special case. It'd be a shame, though, that'd mean it could never follow you here.
