001 The Lone Wolf
Who: Sansa Stark
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: only on Marsiva, as Sansa doesn't have a ship assignment yet
When: 12.08.2017
( Sansa has never been in such a situation as this one. She's lived in court, yes, and she's lived as a captive in both King's Landing and in the Vale. She's come to her own home and found it hostile. She's never been in a place where everything is so clean and white as this and one that has strange devices she doesn't understand. She's been acclimated to them somewhat, thanks to an...instructional program (it was a program, that was the word, wasn't it?) but it's still foreign to her. Still, if everything foreign was something she fled from, she'd not be alive today.)
( Once she's had a chance to determine how the video works (a novel concept in and of itself), she arranges her hair neatly and addresses the fleet. Perhaps it's a ship that sails through the stars and not water but a ship is a concept that is not untenable for her at the moment. She's grateful she has on a dark dress of her own design, a dark cloak. The stars are cold, it seems, and the warmth is helpful.)
Greetings, fellow travelers. I am Sansa Stark, lately of Winterfell, and I appear to have become part of your conscripted crew for the time being. I've never been on ships for any long stretch of time and certainly not those that sail through the starry night instead of ploughing the ocean so I beg your indulgence as I acclimate myself.
I welcome any advice you may have for me as I embark on this journey for I fear that I am quite out of my element.
( Sansa adjusts her cloak a bit and smiles toward the device, hoping her face is in focus. Hopefully this has worked correctly.)
Thank you.

and hopefully Bran.]
I'm really glad to hear that, Sansa. I've been worried about you. You're right where you belong, now.
...How about Bran? Is he with you? I don't think he was accounted for, last I saw you.

( Sansa watches him for a moment, trying to see if he has any tells. Sokka seems to have an open enough face, though, and she doesn't want to suspect everyone; here, no one should care about destabilizing Winterfell, should they? )
Before...was I open with you, Captain? Did I share things with you?

[It means something happened to Rickon. Damn, still, the ones he knew, that he was close to (bar Robb) were alive. It was a good day.]
Sure. We were pretty good friends. I mean, I never pushed you, I know how hard your life has been- but I always listened when you wanted to talk.

Well, my captain, I thank you for being someone I could depend upon. I do not know you but you know so much of me - so much that I have trouble doubting your words. You had to have known me, to know these things of my family.

I did what I could. I look after my crew, no matter what. [Gently:] Aaaand I probably have an unfair gambit on you, knowing you before. If there's anything you want to know about me, I'll happily tell you. To make it fair.

( Sansa looks at him, expectant. She's much more comfortable listening to someone else tell about their life than sharing the details of her own and she's glad that Sokka's offered it. )
Tell me where you come from?

[Of course, not everything about his life is great- but he knows hers is far, far worse. ]
I'm from the Southern Water Tribe- my home world is split into four different peoples: The Fire Nation, The Earth Kingdom, the Air Nomads and the Water Tribes. The Water Tribes are at each pole of my world. Mine is a pretty small one.
[WAS, he reminds himself. Was. ]

Snow is something I've always associated with home and something I've always loved. I'm glad we have that in common, honestly. Does the ship ever stop anywhere like home, then? Anywhere there is snow?

Thank you, my captain. I do hope we can speak to one another again. You've been very kind and most helpful. Perhaps next time, in person?

Absolutely, I hope so too. I'd really like to catch up more with you.
