Yeah, but that meant I had to listen to her sniveling self-pity as well. There's a lot about Dezel I could say, but at least he never gave up and gave into Kittybeard because he had a cursed blessing.

[He just...hijacked Rose's body and built up her resonance so he could get revenge on...himself. But he'd made his death mean something. Which is more than Edna foresees for Symmone.]

[ Yeah, he just did a lot of shit to Rose - shit they could forgive, in the end, but... Zaveid lifts his hand, playing idly with the hat that rests there on his head. He'd picked it up when Dezel left, not really able to let it go. ]

[Well, what he did to Rose is between him and Rose in the long run. And Edna wouldn't have done it, but she also is a different person herself and has her own history that is different from Dezel's. Just like everyone else.]

Does he kick in his sleep too?

[Not that they have to sleep, but they all have beds and she has a very good idea of what Zaveid and Dezel's relationship really was.]
