I. Shopping

Victor loves shopping. He loves seeing the culture of a place through the wares that they offer. He loves leaving with bags filled with beautiful things. He already adores this planet, but the shopping is something he would easily get carried away with.

It was lucky, then, that he had Yuri with him. They could get carried away together. They both had items they wanted to get to make their respective rooms more comfortable and this planet had given them a chance to buy things they needed for the ice rink on the Iskaulit. Each of them had a few bags when they stopped to get something to eat. Any one passing by would see them together, munching on a sweet snack, while Makkachin was plopped down on the ground by their feet.

When they see someone from the Fleet there's likely to be pleasant greetings. "Hello friend!" Victor calls enthusiastically. "Have you tried these chocolates yet? They're delicious. Aren't they just delicious, Yuri?"

II. Snow

Makkachin seems to love the snow of this place. She keeps rushing off and jumping into it and nipping at it in the air as if she'll be able to eat it all. Neither Victor nor Yuri seem in a hurry to put her on a leash, she's very well behaved and tends to do better when she's allowed to roam.

Now, though, the pair can be seen tossing the fluffy sweet snow in the air to get her to jump at it. Both of them seem to be having a good time, though, eventually, Victor realizes how much of it is getting in her fur.

"Oh, this is going to be terrible to try to get out. Are you prepared for a bath when we get back, Makkachin?" Well behaved or no, at the suggestion Makkachin yaps and then trots over to the nearest person she can find, as if they will protect her from being dragged off to a bath.

III. Ice Skating

Of course, Victor and Yuri take time to go ice skating. There are nice indoor rinks here but Victor suggests the lake purely on the idea that it will be romantic. They have to be a bit more careful on natural, uneven ice, but that doesn't seem to stop them.

Makkachin takes a spot on the bank of the lake where they've left bags with their shoes and naps while the two of them are completely distracted by one another. Their pair skate is beautiful and graceful, as they move around another and openly caress each other. It's clear to anyone watching the ice is where both of them are most comfortable.

If anyone does stop to watch them, Makkachin opens her eyes and then comes over to them as if expecting pets - almost as if that's the toll for the pleasure of watching her humans.

"Are you saying you want to make the transition to ice dancing, Yuri?" Victor teased very gently as he settled his hands on Yuri's hips.

He knew that was impossible. They didn't allow same sex ice dancers in competition and both of them were figure skaters not ice dancers. It was still a fun thing to tease though.

He laughed. "Oh no, you know that... but maybe just playing around here with you... it might be nice. Do you think so?" he likes Victor's hands on him. He likes his scent and his voice and... the way they light reflects in his eyes, how blue they are like a summer day.

"You think we'd win?"

"I think we would melt the ice," Victor said. He shifted his body closer and put a hand on Yuri's hip. "They'd have to invent a new way of scoring because we'd break so many records."

He chuckled. "Oh I doubt it... well. Maybe you would." he put his hands on Victor's shoulders and looked into his eyes.

"I bet we could... I know I could as long as I had you with me." he curled his fingers around Victor's neck. He looks so beautiful like this, like a god or an adonis. Well, he is an adonis.

"Just tell me what you want, Victor... anything... I can do anything with you."

Victor can't help the way that his heart flutters at seeing Yuri so close and so beautiful. He smiles and then closes the distance to kiss Yuri. There are times where he can't believe that he's able to do that. He had gotten close to it times before the rings, but now that they are together pressing his lips against Yuri's lips feels perfect and right.

It's a gentle kiss, meant more for affection than anything more heated.

"Hm. I feel the same way."

He doesn't try to be beautiful, he just expresses his love on the ice. It flows through him so strongly in a moment like this. Just pure speed and creativity... and Victor. He can do anything if it's for Victor. If he wanted it, Yuri could fly.

That kiss was pure love too. Not lust, not ownership or playfulness just... pure love. This is happiness. This is the goal in life, to have this sort of comfort with someone you love the most. He is so lucky he gets to have this...even for a moment.

"I'm glad I can help you feel like that. I want to keep doing that for you, Victor."

"And I wouldn't be a very good coach if I couldn't do the same to you," Victor replies, still smiling. Then, after a moment, he pulls back a bit but keeps his hand holding onto Yuri's.

"We could choreograph and ice dance. For fun." He moves with a little flourish, not enough to dislodge his hold on Yuri but enough to hint at the playfulness of the idea.

Yuri pouted at that. "Ice dancing isn't as fun as figure skating. It doesn't have any of the jumps." he spun around, keeping his hand in Victor's pulling it over his head as he turned.

"Unless you like just dancing... we can do that. We can teach some people to ice skate and if someone wants to we can do shows at the rink." he giggled. "Exhibition only of course."

Victor chuckles. "We both could use the practice for jumps," he agrees. "Pair skate it is then."

"Good~" he purrs softly. "I like the jumps and I work hard on them, don't take those away from me now. Or are you bored now that I showed you I can do all yours?" he skated nearer to Victor, leaned in close, eyes closing just a bit.

Victor makes an 'oh!' sound and looks pleasantly surprised by the feistiness. "I don't think I'll ever grow bored of your skating."

"Good, I don't plan on stopping. We're going to slay this next season." wait had he just said that? He leans in closer and pecks him on the lips. When he pulls back he's licking them.
