[Waking up on the Marsiva had been enough of a shock, like, what??? Why was he suddenly in space?? Like it was kinda cool too, but what?? Then, just when Atsushi was staring to get comfortable and settled in, he'd been mysteriously transported to what he assumes is another ship, and now he's as confused as ever.

With confetti stuck in his oddly cut hair, Atsushi notices the free pudding like stuff first, but for once in his life, he's more concerned with where he is than food.]

Um...is...anyone listening? This is Atsushi Nakajima...and I have no idea where I am...I just came from the Marsiva, actually...

[Of course Atsushi loves puppies! He’s not expecting to see one in space though, and when it sniffs at his feet Atsushi grins and reaches out to pet the friendly canine.]

Where did you come from?

[The dog barks and walks away, and Atsushi swears that it wants him to follow. So follow he does, glancing around the ship all the while. He wonders where the other members of the crew are...]

[Procyon takes Atsushi to the pilot cabin, where Shiro is sitting and checking on everyone. He turns around as soon as his dog makes his presence known and notices the new person coming in.]

Hello there. [It's then that he notices the confetti on Atsushi's hair. That can only mean one thing.] You're a new crew member, aren't you? I'm Shiro, captain of this ship. Welcome to the SS Blameless.

[Oh, finally, someone else on the ship! Atsushi smiles warmly and gives a little wave. He’s so happy to see a friendly (human) face.]

I’m Atsushi Nakajima. Thank you for welcoming me, Shiro-san!

[He has a habit of adding honorifics, even in space.]

I hope that I’ll be able to fit in here.

[Oh! Now that's something he doesn't hear often. It makes him think of home, of his family back in Japan. He hasn't been there in forever. Just Shiro is fine, he wants to say, but he's having an emotional month and now he's feeling nostalgic so--]

I'm sure you'll do just fine, Atsushi-kun. Has anyone explained what's going on to you yet? Do you know your augment?
